This hotel is amazing! The rooms are super clean, the beds are luxury and the decor is beautiful! The staff is professional, helpful and walk around with smiles!!! And that was from the hotel cleaning staff to the bartenders! Our stay at Nesswalk Hotel was during Hogmanay (New Years Eve) and the celebratory dinner was not wanting for a thing! Our dinner was outstanding, the attentive service we received was unbelievable, the music, and dancing a blast! This hotel truly knows how to do it up right and in such a classy form!! Our stay was just wonderful!!
The hotel is in a beautiful location on the banks of the River Ness. We were warmly greeted and ushered to comfy chairs in the cosy lounge looking out over the gardens to the river. Champagne appeared as our luggage was whisked off to our room and check was completed in seated comfort. This set the tone for the rest of our stay. Our room was on the ground floor with patio doors to our own seating area in the woodland garden. The room was spacious and well equipped with everything we could need and more. The bathroom, which was separate from the toilet, was filled with lovely Arran Aromatics toiletries. There was a walk in shower and separate bath with big fluffy bath towels. There were robes and slippers for us too. The room was comfortably furnished with a large bed with quality bed linens. Sky tv was provided in the room and reliable wifi throughout the hotel. Afternoon tea was a delight with an array of tasty goodies which were immaculately presented. Dinner in Torrish was very enjoyable. The dishes are created with thought and imagination and are a visual delight as well as a culinary one. We both loved the Jerusalem Artichoke Veloute. My husband enjoyed the Grilled Fillet of Pollock and I had the Roast Hispi Cabbage which was bursting with flavour. There is an extensive wine list. Breakfast was excellent - buffet items plus cooked breakfast to order washed down with lashing of hot coffee. I need to mention the best asset of this hotel and that is the staff. Everyone we met was friendly and courteous and couldn’t do enough for us. We truly did feel welcome and pampered and would love to return her but for two nights next time Don’t miss the lovely walk on the the islands on the river.…
A beautiful hotel just a ten minute picturesque walk from the city centre yet a million miles away from the hub of a city life This is our second visit to this hotel having visited during covid and it impressed us then and even more now. This is truly a remarkable hotel. From the moment you step into the hotel you are greeted with the warmest of receptions from every single staff member you meet and made to feel special. Oozes calm and tranquility like the River Ness on its doorstep The cuisine is outstanding. The Torrish restaurant is beautifully presented and tastes divine. The afternoon tea is amongst the best we have experienced and the breakfast is also excellent. Rooms are comfortable spotless with high calibre Arran toiletries. Not forgetting the extra touches glass of champagne upon arrival, mouthwatering hotel made fudge during evening turndown service. A wonderful second stay and definitely will be back. Thank you again for making our stay so memorable.…
Fabulous birthday celebration at Ness Walk for my Mums 93rd birthday. Gorgeous location, lovely rooms, delicious food and meticulous attention to detail. A very special experience and a lovely way to creat lasting memories. Thanks for making it so special.
We had two nights here. Check in was easy and accompanied by a glass of fizz. The hotel is modern and well laid out with nice art here n there. The staff were very attentive. The breakfast is good. Dinner was excellent with a very nice menu for our taste. Good cocktails from the bar. Our room was a decent size as was the bathroom. It’s also a good location for walking into town or theatre or just a river walk. We hope to return.
We had the most amazing evening at Ness Walk recently, the whole experience was 5 star from start to finish. We were collected by the wonderful Csaba and taken right to the hotel where we were so warmly welcomed by Marcus and Lewis and guided through to a lovely spot in the bar area. As we relaxed there we enjoyed Champagne and the most wonderful plate of canapés. From there we moved through to one of the best dining spots in Inverness, cosy in the bay window overlooking the river. Kimberley looked after us so well and was so attentive. The food was so delicious, such incredible flavours and everything was timed so well for us. I would like to thank all of the Ness Walk team for looking after us and making our night one to remember. We very rarely manage to get out anymore together and this was the most perfect evening. We would highly recommend the whole experience!…
My husband and I were visiting the UK over the 2022/2023 holiday season, and after a wet, cold but fun Hogmanay in Edinburgh, we made the beautiful trek up to Inverness for several days. We had a minor hiccup with a lost dinner reservation and spotty restaurant service the first night, but the staff more than made up for it with superb service, absolutely lovely accommodations, excellent recommendations on tours, etc. We highly recommend the breakfast, and the food in general. It was a real treat to have afternoon tea following a four hour private tour arranged by Ness Walk. I can’t say enough about the lovely demeanor of basically everyone at the property. At any given time there were several folks available to help…calling cabs, asking for shopping recommendations, and anything else. They made the cold, dark Scottish winter seem warm, cozy and familiar. Highly recommend!…
We were a company of 8 guests visiting the hotel for the Hogmanay (New Years Eve) holiday. Upon arriving at the hotel, I can confirm that I was amazed by the location and the area surrounding the hotel. At the parking, there are a lot of spots with car charging stations. We were greeted with a glass of champagne and the lady from the reception gave us a detailed briefing for the forthcoming events in the hotel. Then we were showed to our rooms. The rooms (as you can see from my photos) are spacious and are very nicely decorated and maintained and also are very clean!!! In my opinion the are at the very high end of standards for hotel rooms. The restaurant of the hotel is divided in the dining and the bar area and both are warm and cosy. There is also another area where you can sit an have a tea or a drink. The New Year's Eve party was excellent and the menu was incredible!!! To summarize, we had a perfect stay at the hotel and we all agreed that in the first opportunity we get, we will visit the Ness Walk Hotel again...!!!…
This is the best hotel I think I’ve ever stayed at. Every single employee we came across on our stay, were kind, polite and helpful. We were greeted upon checking in by being given a glass of beautiful champagne and sitting out looking at the views of Ness River. Breakfast was incredible and the choices were varied. The whole hotel was decorated beautifully and elegantly! The bar was lovely and well stocked and good prices for drinks. My feedback does not do this hotel justice.
The hotel has a lovely ambiance. Great service, lovely lobby, reception, resteraunt and bar area. The food on offer was presented and tasted fantastic. Very good variety of drinks too. The bedroom was a very decent size. We has a area outside to relax and the room had an incredibly comfy bed, nice tv, variety of lighting options. Well proportioned bathroom, with bath and shower.
