Detailed Reviews
The staff were lovely and helpful. Location very central. Only slight issue we has was we set temperature heater up and kept reverting to a set room temperature and room was cold on occasions. Thought breakfast was exspensive so we went to cafe round corner much cheaper than £10 a day each Will be back

The hotel is a short, level and easy walk from the train station and it really is in the centre of town with many pubs, restaurants and shops in easy walking distance.
There is a Polish mini market in the lane way next to the hotel and tour buses (and the bus station) is just behind the hotel.
Checkin was simple, our room was basic but was wonderfully quiet with good sound proofing. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was compact - a bit like on a cruise ship but was spotless.
You had to pay for 24x7 “unlimited” wifi but its really limited to 2 devices. Otherwise there is 30 mins per day free wifi.
Breakfast was the big let down. The coffee from the machine was the worst I’ve ever had, the scrambled eggs were like rubber and nothing changed from day to day. There are a few cafes nearby that you may want to consider.
Great location and good room. Staff were friendly.

Travelled up to Inverness on the LNER Chieftain train to view the Cairngorms on the return trip. Chose the Travelodge as it was close to the railway station. On arrival (8pm) we were checked into our room by the very friendly lady on reception and made our way to our room. The hotel appeared to have undergone a recent refurb as it was spotless. Our room was a double at the rear of the hotel, comfy bed and a good shower, what more do you need. The breakfast room was next to reception, the presentation of the food and the food itself was very good, the friendly lady in charge of the breakfast area continually topped up the breakfast display so it was hot and fresh at all times and tables were cleared and cleaned every time a customer had left a table. The Travelodge gave us a very clean and friendly place to stay while exploring Inverness and we would certainly stay there again.

I stayed here 3 nights, the best part was central location. However it was most certainly not worth the money I paid, which I deeply regret. Nearly £600!! Lesson learnt.
The room was basic, had a tiny window almost like a prison cell. When you opened the window you got wafts of smells from a nearby takeaway. The carpet in the room was stained throughout, there was a burn mark on the counter top in the bathroom, which looked like it was from a cigarette. Again not worth the money.
Every time you would have a shower the floor would get flooded as water would spray from the shower head onto the floor soaking the towels. Even if you moved the shower head as far away as possible it would still happen. No ventilation in the bathroom, would have to keep the door closed after a quick shower to stop the smoke alarm going off. Again not what you would expect for the money that I paid.
Because I was travelling, for convivence I had decided to pay in advance for breakfast and meals for the days I was there. Big Mistake!
Most of the items on the dinner menu they were out of stock, for a small bottle of Peroni it cost £5.50, again rip off costs. Poor quality junk food offered. Most of the items not even included in the meal deal, loads of hidden additional charges too. Breakfast buffet too was low level. The food did not look or taste fresh at all, looked like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for days. Nothing like the pictures on the menu or the website!
Don't make the same mistake, I did.

After having a bad experience in Edinburgh Travelodge, poor customer service we decided to give Travelodge one last try. Wish we hadn't bothered. The service when we arrived was extremely poor, hardly any greeting at all. We were told breakfast was first come first serve? We had pre paid breakfast. The room was small, there was burn marks in the bathroom (looks to be made by cigarettes) but worst of all, the bed was so hard it was like sleeping on the floor. In fact, I didn't sleep. I was hoping for a lovely day out in Inverness but we had to go home because we were so tired.
The only good thing I have to say about breakfast was the scrambled eggs were taken out as we were seated, they were hot and fresh. The sausages were burnt. When I tried to cut my bacon in split into 4 pieces, the hash browns were soggy. We gave up, went to our room, packed and left.
I certainly will not be using this company again.

Stayed in the city centre for easy access to the area around. Staff were all very polite and friendly. Breakfast is a buffet style english breakfast and was refilled in a very timely manner. Would definitely recommend if your travelling on a budget 😀

This is a Travelodge. That means it is a no frills, no amenities, and just the basics. The location is really good though as it is near the main area with pubs and restaurants and it is very close to the bus and train stations. The breakfast was very very basic for the money they charge you and they did not even offer the pancakes shown on their advertisements. If you only need a place to sleep then it works, but it was not even that inexpensive.

The hotel and room were standard Travelodge fare, but even though it's right in the heart of the city it was relatively quiet. What stood out was the staff. Each one we encountered, from reception to those readying the rooms were smiling and welcoming. Reception were helpful when I had wi-fi issues too. I wish I'd caught the name of the lady that checked us in as she was just awesome!

We stayed 2 nights at the end of September while we were doing a bus tour with the Hairy Coo tour company. We were pleasantly surprised by the welcome we received from the assistant manager at the front desk after a long day on the tour. The bed was very comfortable and we loved having a bathtub (as most hotels don't have one). The food at the restaurant was good (we had the pizza). They were very accommodating in allowing us to have an early breakfast - as our bus tour started early. The room was clean and quiet. We would stay here again. The hotel looks fairly updated and it was nice having the restaurant onsite. If your are looking for a bathtub book the family rooms as most of the other rooms only have showers.

Good location, tired hotel that is not good value for money. Stayed in a rival brand (ibis) in Aberdeen which was much cheaper and significantly cleaner and better, would not stay in this travelodge again as it was way overpriced when you include breakfast. Who charges for WiFi now days? Only travelodge it should be free!!!!!

As far as l know it doesn't have an incidental hold, was never requested by reception.
A few mins walk. Not far at all. Pretty flat terrain too. Just a few crossings in the half mile.
Yes, any rooms we've been in have all had a "shower in a bath" set up.
I saw a service dog, but unsure if it allows dogs in general for clients staying.
