We stayed here for two nights . For a club site it is not good value for money. £67 for two nights for this i don’t expect the toilet and showers to be in a portacabin, modern and they are kept nice and clean. The separate toilet block at the opposite end of the site are not so nice quite tired and shabby but clean. We did expect road noise as it is beside a main road but the unexpected airplanes flying over were a surprise, but we only saw two while we were on site. The hole site is shabby and could do with a lick of paint . I’m afraid we won’t be returning as the price doesn’t match the quality of the site. lick of paint . Stayed for 3 nights on a trip that included Brodie castle, Ullapool and the western isles. Good , well maintained site in the woods. Quite a long walk into Nairn, partially in the woodland, but there is a bus stop outside. Friendly and welcoming staff.

Absolutely beautiful location in a small wood surrounded by loads of wildlife. The amenities are fairly basic but scrupulously clean and hygienic The site is well maintained by a great team who are friendly and always go the extra mile to ensure you enjoy your stay. My wife and I enjoyed it so much, we squeezed in an extra night. I really don’t relate to the negative reviews on here, as our experience was nothing short of fantastic. Just don’t let your expectations run away with you beforehand

Lovely campsite in the middle of the woods. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Toilets and showers although basic were clean. Brilliant dog walks. There is a small shop onsite but closed due to COVID. However, the wardens are always around to assist with whatever you need. We will be back x

This is a site of two halves. They need to install an earth bund to reduce the road noise. It surprised me the road volume right through the night. The noise level at night is excessive. In my opinion the wardens should be seen to be doing more. For example the area where you fill the freshwater looked as if it had not been swept for quite some time. The buildings look uncared and needing a repaint. In the brochure it says you need to take a torch. The position is made worse in that blown lights are not being repaired so large areas in darkness. On the plus side if you like walking and cycling it’s a great centre for a holiday. We cycled daily into Nairn which is about two miles away. You can cycle through the forest to avoid cycling on the A96. We also cycled to Cawdor Castle and other attractions using the side roads which are easily accessed from the campsite. Nairn is an attractive town to spend a week in and around. Yes we will use again but will try and get a pitch as far from the A96 as possible.

We are very tolerant and easy going and don't expect hotel facilities, but this must be the worst pitch we have ever had. Flooded out and caravan full of pine needles, toilets clean but unsuitable, staff friendly but we won't be back.

If you want the following for your camping experience then this is the campsite for you. 1 grumpy attendant calling you at 1845 moaning why your not there when you stated you were arriving by 2000 and complaining he has jobs to do 2 a grass pitch that resembles a WW1 battlefield 3 toilets from trainspotting 4 sleeping next to a road similar to Monaco on an F1 day, 5 play park even your kids think is the pits. Then look no further your dream awaits

We absolutely love this place. We used to have our caravan sited there as such a convenient site for the Moray Firth and surroundingarea. It's quiet and secluded with lively walks. The wardens are always lovely and very helpful too. We've been many times over the past 8 years. We'll absolutely visit again. Great value for money.

Horrible place, as soon as entered questioned like they are police and your a criminal. The staffs attitude stinks , so very very rude, not friendly and just all in horrible people especially a older on with blonde hair. Ended up leaving due to there attitude didn't want to stay there with the way there treat you. Defo not a family friendly site. The site is also nothing like advertised not even a proper toilet block its just port a cabins. 100% not advise this site don't waste your money or time have put in a official complaint to the caravan club also the place is a absolute joke!!!!

The site is nice and the pitches are a good size. Facilities are poor at the moment. Toilet block closed down and portacabin toilets and showers in use but they were ample and very clean. No Shop or reception due to Covid and refurbishment. Friendly staff. There is a wooded area behind the site for walking or cycling, this is the best way to get to Nairn Town rather than on the main road.
