(Updated July 2017) Husband and wife team Donald and Anita Gibson would like to welcome you to Auchnahillin Holiday Park which we hope you will find to be a friendly and informal small mixed site, conveniently located just 8 miles/10 minutes' drive south-east of Inverness, only a few miles off the main A9 trunk road (accessible from either end of the B9154 Moy road). Set in the Heart of the Scottish Highlands, by vehicle from our quiet semi-rural location you can easily reach the Highlands' capital city Inverness which has all the benefits of a modern city including excellent opportunities for sight-seeing, shopping, eating out and entertainment. Auchnahillin is also a convenient base from which to explore other parts of the Highland region, or as a stopping-off point on your travels. We have 10 static caravan holiday homes and one wooden chalet available for hire weekly or nightly, all are self-contained and fully-equipped, and utilities, bedding, linen and towels are included. We also offer 15 hardstanding/grass pitches with electric hook-up and water close by for touring caravans, motorhomes and campervans, as well as 10 camping pitches for tents, each with its own gravel parking space so you can have your car next to your tent during your stay. Children and dogs are welcome (please refer to Conditions). We are always endeavouring to improve our facilities and services, and our newly-refurbished heated amenities block offers: *Indoor Campers' Kitchen with free use of microwave, kettle, toaster, crockery and cutlery and a small seating area for campers. *Indoor dishwashing facilities, laundry with Belfast sink for handwashing, washing machine (£4 token) and tumble dryer (5x20p coins) *Individual private spacious WC and shower cubicles (free), washbasins, hairdryers (20p coin) and shaving points. *Disabled/parent & baby/toddler room. We also have a staffed Reception/Information area where you can leave items for charging or ice-packs for freezing free of charge, a small groceries shop, an outdoor children's play area (for under-12s), and a recently resurfaced all-weather dog walk ideal for 'walkies' first and last thing (please clean up after your dog). Free WiFi is available to guests. We look forward to seeing you at Auchnahillin :)

Recommended by a friend this hidden gem of a caravan park is in a lovely quiet location, perfect for exploring Inverness and the cairngorm national park. We stayed for a couple of nights in the cabin and can’t fault a thing. Excellent value for money, we will definitely be back.

We booked the campsite at the last minute after finding it randomly on google. After ten days of vacation in which we stayed in several campsites scattered throughout Scotland we were incredibly amazed by this structure and by the hostess. The price is too low for the quality, cleanliness, total availability of the owner of the campsite and the many services offered (large and spacious bathrooms, laundry and kitchen with kettle, toaster and microwave!). The hostess even lent us her vacuum cleaner to clean our rental car which we had to return. We would have happily stayed longer and will certainly return when we pass by the parts of Inverness. Absolutely recommended! Feedback

Having had a slightly disappointing stay in the previous campsite, this fabulous family run destination was just wonderful. Arrived in pouring rain, but the welcome was still delightful. Site wasn't too busy, although there are a lot of caravans away from the camping area. Clean, tidy hot water and the camp site kitchen with toaster, microwave and drink facilities was considerate and again, very clean. No problem with midges thankfully and in a great location for just walking and mooching around. Wished we had booked here for extra nights but we were on a 'grand tour' Would I stay here again, absolutely, and probably for much longer next time. thank you

One of the best campsites I've stayed at - great facilities, especially the washer/tumble dryer which was needed after we got soaked! Very quiet and could choose our pitch. The staff were lovely and helpful. Ideal for anyone traveling with a dog or two. Small walking area near the pitches. Beautiful views.

We camped here for 3 nights and it was one of the best campsites we have stayed at. Very reasonable priced. Very quiet no road noise. Toilets and showers Very clean and the shower was the best. Lots of hot water, there was jets and a rainfall shower. There was even a laundry/campers room, which had kettle, toasters, microwave, iron, washing machine, books, plates, leaflets. You was even able to sit in. WiFi was good. There was even a washing line if you needed to dry anything. Play park for children. There was a small dog walk also. The holiday park catered for caravans/motorhomes/camping and you could also hire caravan/chalets. The owner was very helpful. 5* campsite.

We happened upon this campsite by chance. It was an amazing find! The cleanest site I think I’ve ever stayed on! We have traveled extensively too. Early in the season, so not too many midgies! Handy for the battlefield and Inverness. Highly recommended!

We stayed here for 2 nights during our tour of Scotland in our camper van. It is well placed to visit Loch Ness, Inverness and the battle site at Culloden Moor. The site is lovely, well maintained, clean and quiet. The showers and facilities were spotlessly clean and free to use. Our dogs were welcome, and there was a short specific dog walk - perfectly adequate for taking them for their last walk at night. Anita the owner was very friendly and accommodating. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this site for a short or long stay.

Peaceful place to stay parked overnight in our motorhome. Facilities ie toilet shower best I have ever had touring. Friendly owner couldn’t do enough for you. Such a peaceful place will stay again. Small dog walk but just up the main road there is a forest to walk the dogs.

As we booked before we read any reviews we were a bit apprehensive, but all our fears were groundless as the static caravan and all utensils were spotless. Auchnahillin was an excellent centre with easy access to the Moray coast and Culloden just a few miles away, both sides of Loch Ness and via a convenient bypass round Inverness to the Black Isle and all points north.
