The staff are so lovely here and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. This was my second stay and will most certainly not be my last. It was like visiting old friends, the welcome was warm, the service amazing, the room very comfortable and the food was brilliant. Great value for money and very comfortable.

All good except bar was dominated by football broadcasts and continental breakfast options were very limited compared with other hotels on our trip. Appreciated having water and Iron-Bru being provided in the room.

Had a lovely stay at the hotel, clean and comfortable with attentive friendly staff. Breakfast was good too. The bar is great with a nice atmosphere. Hotel is located a short walk from the train station but easy to find.

Freandly and polite service. Tasty breakfast. Rooms are clean and comfortable, but there is lack of sound insulation in the rooms - I was able to clearly hear the people walking and speaking across the hall. It was dificult to use water heater in the shower ot it was not operating propertly.

Dated hotel in need of some maintenance. so called superior room over priced for services provided. Although of decent size, room had no table to put cups of tea on. Stayed on a Saturday night after a long drive up the west coast. Very friendly welcome from receptionist, and shown personally to our room which was lovely. Our room was on the 2nd floor and overlooked the road, but we had no traffic noise at all. The room was a great size which accommodated 2 of us perfectly. Loads of... More

Great weekend break with friends. Food great and nicely divided bar and restaurant areas. Very friendly and helpful staff. Pet friendly. Short walk to town centre. Would recommend. Professional but chilled atmosphere.
