I spent one night here due to working in the area. The hotel is pretty basic, no evening meals and no bar, so not really sure it's a hotel, but the room was very nice and spacious, and with it being the end of November, very warm as well. The staff were very nice and welcoming too. The town centre... More

We arrived in Wick and due to unforeseen circumstances could not stay where we had booked. The Norseman Hotel was fully booked but the manager there was very helpful and phoned around a couple of places for us and found a double en-suite at the Breadablane. We could see that it was having some work done to it as the... More

The sun was shining when we arrived in Wick and found the hotel. The hotel is older, and undergoing some improvements, but still retains it's old school charm. When we got to our room, there were enormous bay windows with a delicate veneer of lace for window shades. The bathroom was enormous, and modern. The staff was incredibly kind, and... More

Hotel is well worn, not luxurious but charming. Rooms are large. Shower strong with plenty hot water. Beds comfortable with thick duvet. Staff friendly and relaxed. Breakfast was delicious and generous. Best value for money in Wick.

When we arrived I nearly didn't go in as the front of the building had scaffolding erected and we could just get to the front door with our bags. Once inside a friendly person on reception checked us in ( my wife, myself and our dog. ) I inquired about breakfast and was informed that as we were the only... More

Some basic things that really ought not to be the case (I think this was room number 4, by the way): nowhere to hang towels. No rails, no hooks, no rings, no nothing, so we had to use the chair for one and the door knobs of the wardrobe for the other. The toilet seat didn't stay up, which is... More

The place is lovely, clean and specious. The owner is very nice and serves a delicious full breakfast. My room was clean and comfy. The bed has top mattress. We like it a lot and will be back for a longer stay.

Stayed here for 1 night with friends at the beginning of April. There had been a mix up with the booking, and we weren't expected, but the manager was very good about arranging nearby alternate accommodation. Breakfast was pleasant, stay was comfortable, would recommend it to others.

Stayed for one night, the staff were nice enough to offer accommodating our early morning start by giving us breakfast early, the room was clean and had fairly good wifi (good enough to stream movies) the room was spacious but the bathroom was cold and the mattress was possibly older than me, it was nice having a good duvet and... The breakfast was fine, served with a very friendly manner. The room was so basic and uncomfortable it was eye opening. It was dusty, lacking in light so we couldn't see into our luggage, a single small upright mirror leaning against the wall in the dark area, and only one bedside table and one lamp beside the ridiculously uncomfortable bed....
