We had one night stay in Feb. Our family room was a good size alth very much stuck in the 1980's decor. The room was at the front of the hotel right next door to a large church - the bells rang all night and could be heard through the single glazed window. The bathroom was ok, small & clean...

I've stayed before and despite the helpful staff who were willing to put back some food due to my after 2030 cut off for food was disappointed with my stay. My room was an extremely small (I could touch both opposite walls!) The bathroom was almost as big as the room! It was however clean and well decorated, the bathroom...

I stayed here on a business visit to the area. Staff were friendly and helpful, hotel was clean, though perhaps a bit dated. My room was spacious, warm, and comfortable, though the decor was again dated. The entrance lobby was lovely, with an open fire and comfortable armchairs and sofas. This is probably the hotels best feature, and is excellent...

We decided to have an evening meal here and were pleasantly surprised. It was a basic menu and a simple local restaurant with an atmosphere that suggested it catered for the traveler who had some work connection to the local Nuclear Power Station ? Nobody was glowing green or anything ! It's just how it felt 😂

After a charity bash we were directed to the dining room. Quite quickly our orders for drinks were taken and served. Then our orders for meals were taken. Luckily we were in good company and chartered for thirty minutes until our meals arrived. I had chicken curry & Chips. Chips were OK but the curry was outstanding. The staff were...
