We booked in for just one night whilst travelling around Scotland. Our room was basic but clean and comfortable, with a good sized bathroom. We were on the first floor and as the hotel is on the main road, it was a bit noisy, but not the fault of the hotel. Breakfast was delicious and served by a very friend...

Stayed here for 3 nights, staff were very helpful, rooms were basic, but very clean, comfy bed, good en-suite bath and shower. WiFi worked flawlessly. Bar was nice, breakfast was good...and even offered some sandwiches for my 500 mile trip home. Will be my first port of call next time I need accommodation in the area.

We had a great stay in room 26. The hotel was very dog friendly and this room had access to the rear car park. The room was modern and clean, no issues at all. The staff were exceptionally friendly and even made us a pack lunch on the day we were unable to get to breakfast. There are lots of...

Our tiny little room was horrid. We were in the Carriage House. No WIFI in the rooms most of the time, the food was barely eatable, the desk clerk surly. Plus our "bed" was actually a very weary mattress on 2 boxes. The pillows were stained with what appeared to be blood. My 5'10" husband couldn't stand up in the...

One of the most uncomfortable beds on our trip. Typical hotel breakfast. There are other places if you traveling on your own so check around (we were on a tour) and you take what they use. We did note this on the tour review.

We stayed here for two nights. We had a decent dinner and breakfast both days, served by cheerful and obliging staff. Our first room was in the Coachhouse where we found a half-full lemonade bottle and a hair on the tea tray. One of the curtains came completely off the rail when we closed it and there's a sloping roof...

A somewhat 'dated' hotel, but the 'chalet' we stayed in was clean and comfortable and there was adequate parking. Wifi was intermittent at best beyond the main hotel building. Easy walking distance of the town centre so we ate in a nearby restaurant in the evening. We had a decent breakfast before leaving the following morning. Courteous reception staff

I stayed for several nights in one of the rooms facing the courtyard car park. It appeared to have been freshly refurbished and was simply but comfortably furnished, spotless white linens, good choice of TV channels and I had no difficulty whatever with the wifi at any time. However the windows overlooked the car park at ground level and could...

Stayed two nights in the main hotel. It was very old fashioned but the owners and staff were very nice and helpful. The food was plain but plenty. It is located on the edge of town so if you wish to wander into town it is a short hike. The front rooms were fine but a bit noisy at night.
