Booked in to this hotel and unfortunately didnt get to stay in the original hotel but the guest house adjacent. Lovely clean and spacious room. Great location. Hotel does good meals at a reasonable price and breakfast was brilliant. Cost a little more but worth it for the location. Would recommend

Popped into the Seaview for lunch when on a bus trip, we were made very welcome by the staff then shown to our seats. The dining area was very clean and comfortable. Our delicious home made soup was delivered to our table within a very short time followed by a plateful of a variety of delicious sandwiches. Our lunch was...

Who wouldn't want to go to John O'Groats! We visited the Seaview Hotel for a meal (mine being the first time) On arrival walked through empty hallways then entered bar where the atmosphere came alive. On sitting at one of the well spaced tables situated away from the bar, the very attentive bar staff gave us menus immediately. The menu...

We had 1 night here as part of a large, organised group. Our room was over the road in a newly refurbished annex. It was very clean and comfortable with a nice bathroom and large shower. Our evening meal was a tasty, ample cold buffet with soup to start and dessert after. Breakfast was VERY early (6am) before we headed...

We booked this at the last minute and arrived when it was dark. We were told we had been upgraded to one of the better rooms but it was across the road in the annex. If this was one of the better rooms, Id be scared to stay in the main building! It was small, looked out on to a...

Just an overnight stay, but we were made very welcome. Our room was "across the road" in the newly refurbished annex. The room was clean and comfortable. The double bed was quite small, may even have been only 3/4, but there was also a single bed in the room so at 1am I left my wife snoring in the larger...

This was our last night's accommodation on our North Coast 500 tour. We booked the hotel in advance and, being John 'o Groats, we did not have high expectations - fortunately. We attempted to check in late afternoon whilst there was a wake in full swing in the bar. As the staff were busy taking money in the bar we...

If you want to be right at the sign post of John O'Groats then this is the closest. However it was a budget basic place charged at expensive rate. On check in and anytime you wanted assistance you felt you were being a pest. We stayed in room 20. It did have a sea view and was across the way...

The cleanliness of the bunkroom is a let down. seems like no one has been staying in the room for quite a long time as I can see dead toilet bugs in the bathtube. Not worth the price paid for. The best of the hotel is probably the food though.
