Hotel is in a great location but the rooms and general feel of the hotel is dated with exception of the restaurant. Restaurant staff poorly trained given that only 1/4 of the restaurant was in use. Unlikely to staff again

Just back from a short winter break at Coylumbridge. We had a great stay, friendly staff, the famous Hilton breakfast, entertainment in the evenings, swimming pool, lovely comfy room, dinner in the bistro and relaxing in the lounge and bar. Looking forward to our next visit in the spring. We arrived in the middle of a charity boxing tournament, which... More

Had a lovely weekend here with the family, staff are great really friendly! I decided to get my nails done at the Thai spa. Looked great at the time however 2 days after they were chipped knowing that this should not happen I emailed them, didn't get a reply, emailed again then got a phone call. I don't stay near... My wife, myself, my granddaughter and, most importantly, my mother-in-law (Granny Murray) stayed at the Hilton Coylumbridge for 2 nights - from Sunday 27th to Tuesday 29th November. The Hilton brand has deteriorated since we last stayed in their chain of hotels. The hotel is located well outside of Aviemore and not having a car at our disposal, taxis were... More

Been staying at the Coylumbridge since 1971 and still enjoying our visits. The Inverdruie restaurant in particular is now a delight with a varied evening menu excellently prepared by the chefs using local produce and ample breakfast choice again fresh and hot. The evening entertainment is again very good with local artists interacting with the guests, especially the children that... More

Dear mandykayo1, I was dismayed to read your review and apologise that we did not meet your expectations. It is difficult for me to comment on a number of the points raised as I cannot identify you by name which would then allow me to see what room number you occupied. Neither am I able to check for any correspondence... More

My girlfriend and I stayed at the hotel just for one night as we were travelling up to Fort Augustus. We were given a warm welcome although we struggled to find a parking space straight away. I reluctantly rated this hotel as two stars as I felt it couldn't be rated as average for a Hilton stay or any stay in this price range. I have stayed at many hiltons in the past and I am a member of their honours club and this does not meet the expectations expected of the brand. The room was... More

Dear ianyoung1985, I was very disappointed upon reading your review as generally although we are a "well lived in" property our guests enjoy our location and find the food and the staff to be of a great standard. I understand that you may have previously stayed in a more modern Hilton but do feel that our hotel suits its location... More

Rooms in need of renovation and restaurant staff could be more accomidating but overall a good location worth the money if you get dinner, bed and breakfast deal. Don't expect normal Hilton standards but it's great for a couples break (drink in the woodshed) and ideal for families.
