Stopped here for one night before heading out for a night's wild camping in the mountains. Room was clean, beds comfortable and staff very friendly. Breakfast was included and it was a good spread, including cooked and cold options. The bar upstairs does a good pint although I found the evening food a bit hit and miss. They also let...

I attended a 5 day Intro to White Water Kayaking course and found that the instruction, accommodation, equipment, facilities and general hospitality were all first class. I am looking forward to returning.

We booked several months in advance a five day ice/mixed climbing course on Ben Nevis. About a week before the course, we received a call from the lodge to inform us on the conditions and set expectations. Since this winter had been exceptionally warm, most classic routes weren't available and they kindly offered us a full refund if we wanted....

Loved staying here. It's in a quiet location surrounded by the most wonderful woodland and Lake Morlich. Great place to walk and enjoy nature. There is ample car parking and a great bar/restaurant onsite but it's also only a 10 minute drive to the main street of Aviemore. There are also lots of great attractions and places to visit with...

I have stayed here a few times and have always found the facilities, service, rooms and staff first class. The whole place is modern, clear, has great resources and the staff are always so helpful. There is a ski run, pool, bar, restaurant, climbing wall etc. Can't say enough about how good this place is.

We've never stayed here for a course or accommodation but we pop in all the time for an evening meal. They open at 5pm for food. We always get the steak although they have a good menu and even cater for gluten free and vegetarians. They must have a flame grill because he steaks, which I believe are locally sourced...

This is an excellent place to stay if you are looking for a break in the Cairngorms. The location gives you access to a brilliant range of walks and views. The accommodation is fairly new, spacious and spotless. The centre itself has a gym, small swimming pool, and lots going on there and in the local area. The self service...

Superb trip. Glenmore Lodge accommodation was clean & well equipped. Friendly & helpful staff. Catering was of a good quality & plentiful. Equipment loaned was of a high standard. The Sea Kayaking course was very well managed with excellent & fun tuition (many thanks Graeme & Giles). Stunning scenery plus a variety of wildlife, including sea eagles made it an...

Stayed in 2 bedroom lodge, very disappointed on arrival to find despite paying over £600 that the beds weren't made up, previous occupants dishes still in the dishwasher; dirty towels left in bedroom drawers; old newspapers and receipts under furniture; cobwebs and a general air of an apartment that needed a deep clean. Was using the lodge as a base...

We booked 2 nights B&B in July 2016 for 80 GBP / night. The fact that I received a wrong confirmation was a "typing mistake". When we arrived late at night, the shower didn´t work in our room and the room was sticky and not clean at all. The service person showed up and offered to use the showers in...
