We enjoyed our stay at Scandinavian Village. We stayed in units 55 and 44; I think that 44 (a second floor unit) was nicer. The units were a little dated, but clean and comfortable and just a short walk from town. The office staff were very friendly and helpful, there is a good selection of DVDs you can borrow when...

We enjoyed our stay at the Village and we were pleasantly surprised how well equipped the kitchen was, the quality of the towels and the generally cleanliness of the house. The layout was great with a good quality televisions for those snowed in days, plenty of heating if you were cold and extras such as a washer and dryer, laundry...

We stayed in a villa. It had a double bedroom and 4 bunk beds in the other bedroom. The downstairs couch can be used as a double bed. Flat screen TV and 8 person table in living room and fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher. Heating needs to be managed as it can get a bit too warm if you leave...

I stayed here with my hubby in Sept of '08 (but it won't let me put that!) and we had a self contained flat. The flat was spacious, though probably wouldn't be if you were have 6 people in it. 2 singles and a bunk bed in the bedroom, double sofa bed in the lounge. There was a good sized...

I have been visiting Scandinavian Village for more than 20 years now and always enjoy the stay. Excellently located a five minute walk from the village centre it is a well maintained and equipped home from home with everything one could possibly want for a short break. Yes, it's not top of the league for being totally up to date...

Also try and rent there. Never never buy there. It is timeshare. Various agencies advertise rentals including dial an exchange. They have villas and flats. Very well looked after and full kitchens. Good area to see northern Scotland.

Been going to Aviemore the last 6 years at Easter time. Stayed in a couple of places but rate this as the best value. Stayed in this resort 3 times now and really like it. Like it that much that I actually bought a timeshare for the week that I want each year 1st week in April and the fact...

We stayed in one of the villas for a week. The house was well decorated and fully equipped. The resort is within easy walking distance to the main street in Aviemore making it convenient for all the shops and eateries. Aviemore is well placed for visits by car, bus or train to Inverness and surrounding area. It would be excellent...

We had a two bedroom villa on exchange for our own gold crown resort elsewhere in Scotland. Not of the same standard - pine furniture a bit tired and linens could do with renewing - but well equipped and particularly suitable for young families. Our double bedroom was quite small and the other room was furnished with four bunk beds....

Booked this place through a timeshare exchange. Apartment 11 sleeps 6 although what we didn't know the second bedroom had two sets of bunk beds. Fortunately there was only two of us although the main bedroom was a bit small. The apartment was well furnished although a wee bit tired. The kitchen was well equipped with nothing missing and includes...
