The Pine Bank Chalets offer a prime location to use as a base, to explore Aviemore and it's surroundings. Within walking distance of Aviemore's town centre and Railway Station. We were staying in the Cairngorm Chalet, which has it's own off street parking, although it would have been nice if the kerb was dropped for like a driveway, mounting the...

Cairngorm lodge is dog friendly and ideal as a base camp. Warm and clean and quiet enough. Don't expect luxuries in the Cairngorm; you want the Cedar lodge for luxury! Perfect if you are going to be out and about most of the day with your dogs. Excellent location as well within walking distance of the town and amenities. Several...

In general the lodge was warm and cosy. BUT overnight the resident mice ate through the fabric of my backpack to get at the (sealed) cereal bars inside. I did inform the site owners of this problem, and they have declined to respond.

We are just back from a fantastic week away in one of Pine Bank Chalet's gorgeous and cosy lodges, with stunning views out over the River Spey. The lodge was comfortable, clean, warm and well equipped and our 3 and 5 year old especially loved the play area! Reception were lovely and friendly and had some great suggestions re local...

My boyfriend and I stayed in the Dulnain lodge for two nights over Easter Weekend and had a lovely time. The lodge was clean, well decorated and in a great location. The town centre is well within walking distance and there is a fab little pub just down the road. Points to note: 1) When the lodge says self catering,...

We spent New Year week in Bynack chalet. Everything was how we imagined, lovely bedding, cosy living area with wood burner and great veranda. Location is perfect for walking into town. Reception staff helpful with good local knowledge. We kept the bird feeders full and got lots of hungry birds. We will visit again.

Just returned from a weekend staying at the Ptarmigan lodge (previously been in Sheiling). We had not stayed at this particular lodge before, however the standard again was very high, immaculate, comfortable and very welcoming, it is clear that Tanja and Simon wish their guests to experience a high standard of accommodation. As to a previous February review which someone...

We stayed for 2 nights in the Macduie chalet. It was adequate but not much more. The bulb from the fire didnt work so didnt have nice glow. I did report it but it didnt get fixed while we were there.Didnt really think it was value for money compared to some chalets we have stayed in previously elsewhere. The furniture...

We stayed at cedar lodge for just a couple of nights at the end of February. We couldn't have asked better accommodation, the lodge itself was fantastic. It had gorgeous finishes, was impeccably clean and had a fantastic rustic wooden smell as soon as you set foot in the door. The location was also ideal very close to a great...
