We received a warm welcome from staff as well as a welcome pack of Irn Bru & a Tunnock’s tea cake! All the staff we met were very friendly & helpful. Rooms were very comfortable. Location of the hotel is ideal for a night in Glasgow. Breakfast was fab on the Sunday, morning rolls are defo the way forward.

Hotel's Favourite
We stayed here during a short break to Glasgow. The hotel is about a 2 minute walk from George Square. Despite its central location, it was peaceful and we didn’t hear any street noise. On arrival to our room, we found 2 cans of Irn Bru and 2 Tunnocks Tea Cakes which was a nice touch.. It was my partner’s birthday and she was given a voucher for a free drink at the bar and the staff had left a happy birthday message on the bathroom window. Breakfast was good with a large selection of food. We’d definitely stay here again if we were returning to Glasgow.

My friend and I booked this hotel for Sunday 3rd to the 4th December, as it was central to all the good restaurants, bars. The staff were very friendly and helpful, signing in was quick, the room was beautiful and cosy. The breakfast had many choices, we had cereal, sausage, scrambled eggs and bacon and toast, absolutely lovely on a cold morning. They even had two machines in the seating area where you could get latte, hot chocolate, tea, cappuccino at anytime of the day. Signing out was also very quick. We honestly couldn’t fault this hotel. Definitely would book again.

Great location for sightseeing in Glasgow. The rooms are basic. The bathrooms are small. Fine for a budget hotel. Very clean and well maintained. The breakfast has many options. Rob was very helpful at check in.

2 night stay at the weekend. Very comfortable bed. Blackout curtains great. I woke at 10 past 10 thinking it was 7am. Breakfast fantastic. Everything you could want. Thick bacon. Lovely coffee. Came back for a game of pool with my wife about midnight. Hotel really impressed me. Even though its a central hotel it is very quiet when going to bed. No complaints at all. Will definetly return and highly recommend.

Perfect location for exploring Glasgow City centre. I was there for a gig in the Barrowlands. The room was small but had everything needed for an overnight stay. It was quiet and the black out blinds meant a good night sleep. The 24 hour bar was great for post gig nightcaps and late checkout time was a bonus.

Great location ,room was all you need .and quirkey decor Staff friendly and 24 hr bar service Breakfast overall was fine except the cold meat platter and sliced cheese in the chilled unit far from fresh ,How many days same platter in and out each day it was well past its use by a few days ago !! So avoiding the continental option opted for cooked breakfast from the chaffin dishes . Will definately return to ibis for another catch up with friends in glasgow in the future

I stayed here for one night only. I travelled from Kirkcaldy to Buchannan Street Bus Station in Glasgow. The hotel was a 15 minute walk away. The hotel is modern and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The breakfast choice was good too. The location is not farrow Central Station. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend the hotel.

Centrally located and ideal for the town centre and all of the restaurants. comfortable hotel and the first floor lounge had free tea and coffee. This was a good place to relax instead of the room. Room was clean and tidy and ideal for me on business. No car park but parked elsewhere.

Second time staying at this hotel while visiting family, and love the location , right beside the vibrant centre, with everything within easy reach. Asked for a quiet upper room, which I got, facing out onto a small enclosed courtyard. Good views overlooking the city from the corridor windows. Spotlessly clean room and ensuite shower/toilet with Glasgow-related industrial-style decor & graphics, comfy bed , efficient air-con, kettle & hospitality tray. Didn’t receive the complimentary Tunnocks tea cakes & Irn Bru ( believe you have to book direct with hotel to warrant them) , but did get a welcome voucher for a free drink at the bar. Very friendly and helpful staff, and no problem with leaving luggage at reception after check-out, if you’ve things still to do in the city. Cannot comment on breakfast or the food as ate elsewhere, but made use of the hospitality station on first floor for tea ☕️ whilst waiting for family. Can only say it ticks all the boxes for me for a city stay.
