First time in Glasgow. Travelodge provided excellent base to explore the city from. Great room excellent price , only minor issue was getting booked into room. It seemed like everyone had arrived at the same and this made it difficult for the staff and to get everyone booked in quickly. But they did a great job under the circumstances.

I've been using this hotel since it first opened and I've never had a bad room. Lots of happy staff waiting to check me in this time and I was offered the choice of a room on a lower or higher floor. The decor appeared new as was the carpet, the bathroom was also gleaming. There are 2 lifts servicing 12 floors at this hotel and during my 1 night stay only 1 lift was operational.

Due to the trains being cancelled I didn't stay and you didn't refund the cost. A train strike is exceptional and so you could have made an exception. I shall look elsewhere in future. Blah blah blah.

I've stayed here before and usually enjoy the Super Rooms but 1208 was a disappointment. It was impossible to have a shower without flooding the bathroom floor. The shower curtain is too short and sticks out beyond the shower tray. Why? This was a real nuisance. To add insult to potential injury there is a notice warning about standing on wet surfaces! Other minor problems: window was dirty, TV flickers for a while after switching on, one lift wasn't working, lift call button from reception level was temperamental (there was a notice saying try pushing it hard!), room key did not function after 12:00 even though I had booked a late check-out. 3 stars because the room was otherwise comfortable and the location is great for a short city break: it's close to 2 major railway stations, the subway, and the main shopping areas.

Stayed for 1 night in a super room. Thought the place was clean and comfortable and in general what you would expect from a Travelodge. Super room was fine, but if I stayed again I would probably just book a normal room. Only 1 lift was working and we were on the 12 floor. Sometimes it could be a wait. Very central location for visiting Glasgow and done the job for us. P.s pre booked early check in for £10 and this was a fantastic deal to allow us to get more from our day.

I would recommend Travel Lodge Queen Street to anyone who is looking for a basic room which is clean and has friendly helpful staff. We were only staying for one night and we didn’t experience any issues, however I’m confident had we had any the staff would have been extremely helpful.

£391 for 2 nights is extremely expensive. No other hotels in Glasgow available so travelodge took advantage. The £10 charge for an early check in on top of £391 was too much. Maybe a complimentary early check in would have been nice. The hotel itself is pretty good and very comfortable. The staff are brilliant too.

For some reason Travelodge was not on my radar. I was very presently surprised. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Everything worked as it should. The location was great, we did not take a car so cannot comment on parking.

Good stay but price issue, a bit of noise from outside but can’t be helped by the hotel, good location for the hotel and close by to everything that was needed. Decent value for money and a small bar at reception
