The location is excellent and the staff were OK. Breakfast was reasonable, although they didn't have any non-dairy milk despite requesting it at time of booking. The room was tired and a bit grubby. The bathroom is horribly decorated and badly needs updating, and the floor tiles are all cracked (hurt my foot on a sharp bit). The shower is...

Arrived in Glasgow after a long drive expecting a chilled out nights stay in the city centre. Firstly I was very disappointed with the parking, it was round the back of the building amongst rubbish bins and broken pallets, rubbish all over the place, weeds growing everywhere and spray paint on surrounding walls so I didn't feel very comfortable leaving...

To be honest I never normally stay in a low rated hotel due to me liking the finest things in life and yes they do come at a cost but as I have found myself in the next few weeks having to spend my time between Glasgow and Edinburgh and I had to cut costs. I saw this hotel and...

I was looking for somewhere in the centre at the last minute. The Newton does what it is supposed to. Room was clean and warm. Bathroom and shower was ok. Even though I was booked in for breakfast I didn't have time so can't comment. Check in and out was easy.

My boyfriend booked this hotel for the price and convenience of being slap bang in the city centre. I was pleasantly surprised when we turned up as the building looks nothing outside however when we walked in we were warmly greeted. Our room was basic, lovely and clean with fresh towels placed on the bed. At breakfast which is included...

Stayed here last night with my boyfriend as we were going out in Glasgow and he chose this hotel as it is just a few minutes walk from Campus and O2 ABC which is good. Price was reasonable for what we got including breakfast for £40. Room was spotless and bed was comfy, towels and little toiletries were provided. Had...
