Since my last review we have had a few visits to the Redhurst but due to TripAdvisor rules I couldn't leave another review until around now. We stay here for family reasons and having tried other hotels nearby we keep coming back to the Redhurst. Firstly the cleanliness is superb. Beds lovely and top quality linen you can just slide into to relax after a busy day with family. We have grown very fond of Debbie on Reception who bless her puts up with my husbands sense of humour. She is so warm and helpful and can't do enough for us. We would also say Linda at dinner is always upbeat and again is most welcoming. To be fair all the stall are friendly. Breakfast is always very good. Plenty of choice and cooked to order. We are always going to try different dishes on offer but always revert back to the full Scottish!! Food at dinner is good. However. Because we have stayed several times a change in the dinner menu would be welcome. See you all soon again folks Sheena

We have just stayed at theRedhurst hotel for a friends wedding. The staff were very friendly & extremely helpful. The room were lovely, thou if two of you were moving around at the same time it took a bit of Manoeuvring . A special mention to the restaurant, we had a dinner one night & breakfast on two mornings. Food was delicious, breakfast was huge & poached eggs were done to perfection and the avocado smash was an absolute winner.

First time in the Redhurst and it certainly won't be the last. The receptionist was welcoming and friendly. The room was well-appointed and comfortable. Cleaning is obviously a priority as the room was spotless. The bar was well-stocked and the bar staff were friendly. Breakfast was excellent - freshly cooked and plenty of it. Only word of warning - watch the glass bannister on the stairway - I cut my finger on it - could be prevented with a strip of something running from top to bottom so that the divisions between the glass panels is covered.

This is the third time I`ve stayed here and I think it`ll be the last. The minimum room size finally is not tolerable. The restaurant was not to my liking. Beef pie was a pastie shaped flaky pastry sitting on a bowl of rubbery pieces of tasteless beef. On the bright side breakfast was OK and the terrace was a fine area to have a long cool drink in the sunshine whilst ample parking was availablel off road.

HI Merry Marv Thank you for your recent review. I am disappointed you feel that our rooms are too small as we do have three different room types available to book including a small double, standard double / twin and our suites which have all be recently renovated to a high standard. I have forwarded your email to our head chef regarding our Steak pie who shall share with his team. I would like to thank you for your kind comments regarding breakfast and our terrace area. Once again thank you for your feedback as without such we cannot improve.

Recently hired Clarkston suite for christening and birthday party. Both times staff were excellent. Everything was ready as I had asked and the communication with Natalie and Lucy when planning both events was fantastic. The barman in the suite Dominic was great too. Food was delicious and served on time. Great portions. Lovely size hall and was immaculate. Really couldn’t fault it. Thank you so much again!

My husband and I stayed over last night in the Giffnock Suite and it was absolutely lovely! We were checked in by the lovely Debbie and were welcomed by the General Manger Lesley. We had a couple of drinks in the bar prior to going through to the Bird & Bell Restaurant for dinner. The service and food were completely on point. First time being back since the refurb and were certainly very impressed. Will definitely be back and hopefully will make use of the fab new terrace area!
