We had a triple room on First floor. The room was very comfortable and decorated eclectically ( in a good way). We didn't have a problem with noise even above the street and one window was able to be opened when we weren't sleeping. Breakfast was continental with a wide choice. The staff were very helpful with suggestions for local... More

This was our second stay at The Amadeus Guest House and it was asenjoyable as our first. The location is very quiet, safe and value for money is 5 star compared to other places I looked at in the city. Their breakfast ranks in my top 5 of all times for choice and quality, excellent. We wouldn't look anywhere else... More

A well situated hotel in the west end of Glasgow. The ceilings are high, but the window could not be opened to let some fresh air into a stuffy room. The staff were friendly and efficient, and there were no problems. Everywhere was clean and the breakfast was excellent continental style.

Amadeus Guest House was excellent! All staff very friendly and helpful. Guesthouse is near subway and bus stops so its easy to get around. Felt very safe in the neighborhood. I left a valuable item and was immediately contacted and was told it could be sent to me in the US. Only negative is there are no phones in the... More

Good location near Kelvingrove, Ashton Lane, shopping and more. Great staff who are very helpful and accommodating. Good parking. Continental breakfast only with few vegan options. No common area other than the dining room to meet others. My room was a single in an attic with only a skylight so it was cramped and dim. Wallpaper peeling and buckled, mildew... More

We will recommend. Friendly and helpful staff. Very nice and quiet rooms, a very good and plentiful breakfast and easy access to bus and subway. If we will come to Clasgow, we will book the house again.

We loved our stay at lovely Amadeus Guest House and will go back again if we ever visit Glasgow again. It was an extremely charming house, room and location as well. Clean all over and the staff was friendly and most helpful.

My daughter is at the university of Glasgow and this guest house is perfectly placed for the west end. Great stay and so close to the university and west end shopping. It's an easy stay and staff are really helpful.

A comfortable, well-run B&B in a very good location, steps from the Great Western Road and Kelvinbridge Subway station. A few little idiosyncrasies, (how to turn on the TV puzzling) didn't detract from a pleasant stay. Lots to explore nearby, including walks on Kelvin River outside front door. Recommend for a day or three in Glasgow.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Amadeus Guest House is ideally located in the West End of Glasgow, virtually opposite the Kelvinbridge underground. With easy access to the town centre and to the West End, we offer great bed and "real" continental breakfast accommodation. Rooms are cleaned daily, and rates are more than reasonable for accommodation in this area. As we only have nine bedrooms we are often booked up, so do book early to avoid disappointment! ... more   less
