Right opposite central station, this hotel is easy to find and very conveniently located. The staff were all very friendly. The room was clean, quite spacious with nice bedding and bathroom, but there was a lot of noise from bars across the road from the hotel which didn't bother us, but it might be wise to book elsewhere if you're...

I had a single room with ensuite. The room I had was very tiny. The ceilings were slanted too so that in some places you could accidentally bang your head (coming from a 5'9 guy). Toilet was also very small. The shower room floor was scruffy. And when I say scruffy, the floor was chipped and scrapped away, made it...

Avoid like the plague! A friend and I have just had the misfortune of staying here. The hotel has a foul stench which is dreadful. The room was dirty.... stained carpets, walls, nets and curtains. Blood splattered on the radiator. Bathroom soiled. Faecal matter in the toilet bowl. Thick dust on the skirting boards and window ledges. Absolutely stomach churning. Do NOT...

I stayed here on business. There is nothing specifically wrong with the place. Although it was a bit odd eating breakfast in the Indian restaurant. My room was functional but that's all the control arm for the tap was missing, but a minor issue in truth. Staff were very friendly. In truth I booked as a colleague was staying, for...

I picked the Artto Hotel because it was opposite to Central Station and it gave me the easy access I required. The lounge area gave a nice cool environment something I was going to appreciate in the next couple of days with the hot weather in Glasgow. I had an upper floor room but found sleeping difficult over the period...

I was in Glasgow for the Commonwealth Games and the ‘People Make Glasgow’ slogan was posted everywhere. And it is the people who make the Artto. The staff are wonderful, every one of them. I stayed three nights there and found it to be a great little hotel. First impressions were good when I emailed to ask if I could...

The hotel looks really nice from the outside as is the reception area, that was where it ended. The room I was in was fairly basic and good have done with a fresh lick of paint as there was scuff marks on the walls, lighting in the bathroom was exposed and the bed lamps didn't work. The TV had only...

We arrived by train and left via the Hope Street entrance to Glasgow's Central Station. The hotel was minutes away so a good central location for shopping, pubs and restaurants. We arrived too early to book into our room, but the friendly hotel staff were happy to look after our bag for us. The room was a bit small but...

We stayed at Artto for night midweek, we had a twin room with breakfast for £85. The room was fairly basic, but the decor was clean and appeared to be new-ish. On checking in, I felt the reception weren't particularly welcoming. Two staff had me waiting for a few minutes whilst talking amongst themselves without even being acknowledged. Only after...
