This hotel is in an excellent location very comfortable and the staff were very friendly food was amazing at both breakfast and the evening meal would definitely recommend this hotel for a city centre stay
When I arrived there was scaffolding surrounding the entrance due to renovation work at the hotel but there was minimal disruption. The reception was on 2nd floor and accessible by lift from the ground floor entrance. I had a good welcome at check-in and information about the hotel & Covid-19 measures in place were explained and I was given a complementary drink voucher as I had booked Premier Plus room. The Premier Plus room was on 16th Floor which was stylish and spacious with panoramic views of the city. The room had a good range of facilities and definitely a step up from a standard room. There was a Nespresso machine, mini fridge and complimentary green & black chocolates and bottles of water supplied. The king size bed was incredibly comfortable with good quality pillows. The aircon worked well and the ultimate wifi was fine with no noticeable dips. The bathroom had a powerful rain shower with a selection of wall mounted shower gel and shampoo dispensers provided. There was renovation work taking place but I found there was hardly any noise and all work was carried out at reasonable times during the day. I enjoyed my stay at Premier Inn Glasgow Buchanan Galleries, it was in such a central location, the staff members were efficient and approachable. I also thought the Premier Plus room was impressive and worth the extra cost.…
I was pleasantly surprised at how good this hotel was. Perfect location as a short walk away from bus station and you are right in the city. Clean room and comfy bed. Wifi was a bit slow but I was on the 17th floor.
Have stayed in premier Inns before and normally adequate for our needs however our room was not ready on arrival even though it was after the allocated time which was a bit disappointing we left our luggage and returned a couple of hours later to get ready to go out for dinner. Unfortunately I think our towels had been missed as hand towel and bath mat were dirty with marks on them and we had only one clean bath towel and there is no phone in the room to contact staff. I decided to mention it when booking out however no staff available on booking out just the box to put your room card in. Breakfast was lovely but table could have been cleaner overall I was a bit disappointed with the cleanliness and lack of staff when booking out.
Reasonable for price, most of staff pleasant. Would have been better if all the staff were friendly. Proper blackout blinds and no fan noises at all would have been better. The female cleaner was very helpful also and I suppose the cleanliness wasn't too bad for price.
Stayed two nights for a work trip and had very little to complain about. I had a premier plus room which my colleagues agreed was worth the upgrade (they opted for standard rooms). Staff were all friendly and helpful, the security seemed great with every floor locked and card-controlled lifts. The views from the rooms are fantastic and bed was comfortable. Only fault with the room was it had a faintly bad smell but didn't notice after being in it for a minute or two each time I came back to it. The main thing that was disappointing was the evening meal we had. Both a colleague and I ordered dishes that contained avocado, and I have to say we both found the avocado revolting. I don't know what they had done to it, perhaps it was frozen and had been defrosted, I don't know, but it was inedible. We didn't complain as we were tired and just wanted to go to bed so can't comment on how any feedback would have been handled. It would also be good if non-dairy milk was available at breakfast without having to flag someone down to ask every time. Patrick the bar tender was a delight. In summary, I would definitely stay here again but not order anything with avocado. …
An overnight stay with my husband to visit the royal concert hall and friends. With a check in of 3pm and the concert starting at 3 also we did ask if we could get into the room early to change and the staff member on reception did everything in his power to help us and we were so grateful for the help. Our room was on the 9th floor. We had a standard room and found it to be very spacious. Incredibly clean in the room and throughout the hotel. Will stay again for our next break :)
Thought it was worth trying their premier plus rooms and it certainly was. I'll be booking these whenever I can in future. They are terrific as was this PI. It's well maintained, clean, quiet and perfectly located for central Glasgow. I'll be back in four weeks!
Stayed here a couple of weeks ago and had another excellent stay. Stayed in a Premier Plus room which was spotless and everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were all very friendly and the breakfast a great way to start the day. I will definitely stay again.
Great, centrally located hotel. Situated close to public transport stops and on the vibey Sauchiehall Street. Good facilities and very comfortable stay. The only negative about my stay was that you had to book for dinner and breakfast- even for takeaway- not informed at check-in. Room was also only serviced upon request- which I had to figure out myself and not informed at check-in.
