Travellers' Choice
Premier Inn Hotel Glasgow City Centre (Buchanan Galleries) is what its name suggests, smack dab in the middle of Glasgow. So if you want to get amongst the great nightlife, shopping, theatres and cinemas, you'll be right at the heart of the action. Spend the morning strolling through the Buchanan Galleries doing some window shopping. Then find a window for lunch before an afternoon watching some great sport at the Emirates Arena. There's still time to catch a band at the Hydro before coming back to the hotel for some tasty food at our Thyme restaurant and a great night's sleep in your comfy bed.

There are a number of issues with this particular Premier Inn which is in the city centre as you now know. Trouble with this wonderful location is that it also attracts the undesirables Just back from a 3 night stay and ..... 1) Major refurbishment taken place with workers and diversions throughout 2) The lifts for a building with 18 stories are laughable There are just 3 lifts and the wait for one is a joke Once inside a lift you can spend hours going up and down randomly with no order or fashion I lost count the number of people I met in a lift who had been in there for ages 3) Late at night around midnight young people somehow get into the hotel and ran around trying all the doors loudly There is a clear security issue here as with key cards how are they able to enter the floors and run a mock ? Workers had left access and fire doors open as we witnessed walking down 17 flights of stairs to exit the building Last night a fire alarm went off just after midnight and fire crews were here within seconds; time enough to see 4 young people running from the building Our door had been tried and we heard the noise just before the alarm went off As had others on the 17th floor The friends we were with had the same experience two weeks prior to this Unbelievable

Up to the standard I expect from Premier inn. Good nights sleep in a good location in glasgow centre, just 10 minutes walk from the Station. Good selection of Pubs and resturants within walking distance (as well as in the building). Booked for the location and hadn't paid much attention to the layout Surprised to be staying on the 9th floor with an amazing view over Glasgowt!

Would 100% recommend. Everything was lovely, clean and paid attention to detail, like extra tea.etc available to use. The beds are the most comfortable I've ever been in. There was a purple light in the bathroom which I thought was a nice touch. Discount for car parking that is really close by as well, really easy machine to use. Staff friendly and helpful. This hotel was better than a lot of other higher stars ones I've been to. Good price for all you get also.

Booked a premier plus room. Bed was much too small for us. Would at least expect a bigger one so didn’t sleep well. Coffee machine leaked. Nice shower, huge room lovely staff and great location near top of Buchanan street

Nice hotel, great location for the shops and all other amenities, close to the train station. Room was clean and tidy and bed was comfy. Breakfast was nice, had a couple things out of stock which was a shame, but overall was good. Only problem was we got given a room opposite the hallway door so was woken multiple times throughout the night with people slamming the door on their way out! Other than that was an OK stay.

Going to a show at the nearby Concert Hall, the location of this Hotel couldn't be bettered. Got a warm, friendly and helpful welcome from reception staff and our room was warm, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and great quality and was enjoyed after a great nights sleep...I want a Premier Inn bed for the house!! All in all a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Thanks for looking after me so well. The room was pristine and huge! Thanks also for Vera for the sweets. I’m sorry I had no pen to write thanks on the card. The staff are very nice in this hotel, the night porter helped me with an issue I had overnight with no problem. Check in and restaurant/bar staff all very friendly, food was good. Very central close to shops.

Located within minutes of the Royal Concert Hall and the car park the Premier Inn was ideally located and inexpensive too. Staff were friendly and helpful, rooms recently redecorated and nicely furnished. Would highly recommend.

Stayed for a quick break for half term with my teenage son. We were allocated a newly refurbished room on the 11th floor and it was fantastic. They have removed the large desk from the room and replaced it with a small table and chair the room are so much more roomy due to this. The bathrooms are lovely too. The lifts are a bit hit or miss. I had to take one to floor 8 then swap to another to get to floor 11. Breakfast was the standard premier inn affair, had porridge it was delicious.

As per usual our recent stay in Premier Inn Buchanan Halleries was first class. Credit to Jamie (mgr) & his staff for making our stay so comfortable. When were going on short breaks Premier Inn is our first choice for accommodation. We will certainly be back again
