Stayed here for 2 nights at the weekend. We booked to stay in this location on the Friday and Sunday because we were travelling to Edinburgh to stay on the Saturday. The accommodation was lovely, clean, and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was beautiful. My only criticism is that the shower in the first room we stayed in... More

We needed a room for a one-nighter in Glasgow and left it late to book so grabbed this from booking.com. It wasn't cheap but it ticked the boxes. There was a weird smell in the shower room which was very clean so not sure why. It went once the window was opened though. The bed was clean and comfortable which... More

We were in Glasgow for my birthday so it was a drinking weekend and all we needed was a bed but overall it was nice. Hotel was basic, but clean. Sheets were changed daily. Staff were friendly and helpful. Tea and coffee making facilities in each room, snacks and drinks available at reception and free breakfast from 7:30-9:00

Stayed here for the weekend with a friend for the Justin Bieber concert and was pleasantly surprised after reading previous bad reviews. Indy greeted us at reception and he was absolutely lovely throughout our whole stay, couldn't do enough for us. Rooms are basic but have everything you need, clean and tidy. Only downfall would be the shared bathroom but... More

Tiny room with no windows, room smelling of sweaty bedclothes. Complained to reception, told to pay more or leave. Missed breakfast as was told 10am, stopped at 9am. Reception staff cheeky and abusive

One night stay in a single room with shared bathroom. On arrival I paid 61 pounds. Shocked to discover dirty sheet and pillowcases on bed, carpet not hoovered, bin not emptied. The young man at reception said staff all away so nobody to sort problem. Offered to give me a sheet to make bed. I refused and asked for another... More

One night stay, decent location, 10 minute walk in to town. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room pleasant and clean, with kettle and cups to make tea and coffee in room. Beds comfortable, room with bathroom facilities. A lovely big breakfast served in the dining room.

Good location is the only positive for this place. It is well overpriced for what you get. I was awoken at 10:30 with a knock on the door to check out. The room was very hot in the morning but there were no windows to open and let some air in. My friends stayed in a nice hotel nearby for... More

We had a night here and it was good. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good. The beds were average but all ok. Worth a shot. Free papers throughout. Middle of town, and well within walking realms of the location. Give it a shot for sure
