This hotel has really friendly and helpful staff who cannot be faulted. The breakfast is an absolute treat. The shower is one of the best I've experienced and as other reviewers complain of flimsy loo paper at other hotels, the one here would be fit for royalty. The low score does not reflect on the hotel itself (which has lovely...

Thank you for your honest review. Firstly, let me apologise for the inconvenience you occurred during your stay. This was NO fault of the hotel's but the sole problem lies with the Glasgow School of Art. On completion of their New Reid Building, they decided to have a FireWorks display which led onto a party during the night of 9...

I stay here alot for work and it's just perfect for me. Great location near to Charing Cross station, with plenty to do in the evenings and within easy walking distance of the city centre and the West End, this really friendly hotel is amazing value for money. Some of the public areas are slightly shabby, but the rooms are...

Stayed here for one night with my wife and were impressed right away by the quick, friendly receptionist. The owner was also present and explained the parking arrangements and the voucher system. He took an interest in where we were going and why we had chosen his hotel. He then showed us our room which was nice and clean and...

Our room was good and at the back so was quiet the only downside was the shower cubicle which was to small. Overall good value and i would use...

Stayed for two nights (6/7 April 2014). On first impressions it looked very dated. Guy behind desk was friendly and sorted out parking permit for me, which is a bargain at £2. Stayed in room 19,which was comfortable and fairly clean. One gripe would be the mildew in the shower and the window frames could do with a deep clean....

I was in the Victorian house in April 14, On arrival the hotel did not look great. The front of the hotel , reception and corridors very grubby , needing new carpets and a lick of paint. Once in the room we were pleasantly surprised , large bay window bringing in lots of light, large comfy bed, laminate floor made it...

Typical british B6B-style. Stayed here for a whole week doing a work-related travel. Staff was nice and helpful. Room was old, but cosy - it was clean and my bed was made and I had fresh towels every day. Shower was a bit useless. Water was warm enough, but no water pressure. The best thing was breakfast. Nice variety with...

I booked this room on 13/03 a spur of the moment after a work event in Glasgow. Service was slow to start with but was pleasantly surprised by room. However, things started to go downhill after that. At 5.15am both my partner and I were woken by the kitchen, banging and crashing about. After an hour of this my partner...

I booked a single room for 3 nights and found my stay to be pleasant. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable. the sheets and towels were changed everyday without fail and the breakfast was good. The staff were friendly and very approachable. It does need some TLC on the cosmetic side, but for the rates its highly...
