I had booked 2 nights in the Maldron Hotel for a quick stay whilst on Business. Unfortunately a few days before my stay i had a sudden family bereavement and I could not complete my stay. I reached out to the hotel and advised them of this, in hopes they would have empathy and understand but they simply did not care. They advised me I would still be charged and did not even offer alternative dates or even a SORRY for your loss. I have never been treated so poorly, this customer service is terrible. I was not looking for sympathy, but I hope if you are planning on using this chain you think carefully and look elsewhere.

Great hotel with a great location. Very modern , clean and cosy. The bathroom was huge and very modern . Breakfast was self service, only thing was trays were running low and we had to ask for them to bring stuff from kitchen. The dining area was busy so I understand this can happen

Where to start? Room not ready at arrival over an hour after check-in time. Tiny rooms that are too small to fit our luggage. Breakfast not available despite booking. I don’t want to finish this review because we felt so ripped off. We decided to cancel reservation in Glasgow Maldron and go elsewhere. 4 star hotel? You have to be joking. This is a budget hotel that doesn’t meet budget hotel standards. Don’t waste your money. Go elsewhere.

Excellent location for shopping and theatre visit. Reception staff were great, very friendly, and our room was even ready when we arrived at 11:00, with the expectation of leaving our cases in the luggage room, so it was great to be able to have access to our room and leave cases before going out shopping. The room was absolutely spotless. Buffet breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice but they could do with a bigger toaster! Would definitely return in the future.

We have stayed here three times and this will be our last! Positives: Hotel is close to shops Room was clean Finally-biscuits on tea tray! Negatives: Lack of warmth at reception , just……. nothing. Boring and not interested in customers. Dirty lift - lucky we knew how to work lift with card! Sink in room leaking ….. does anyone care? Breakfast was awful- had to ask for gluten free bread ( empty bag sitting on a plate).A few staff going about but not doing anything. Staff member dropped cutlery and just left it. Had to ask for fried eggs- Please get the chef to place them in the hot plates and customers wouldn’t have to ask!!! Toast was cold by the time I got eggs. Orange juice was absolutely awful -tasted watery and no taste of orange at all ! Parking was £26 overnight ! Beware , Maldron do not have a deal with Q park anymore. £182 for B&B and £26 for parking. We won’t be returning.

Decent enough hotel but very kittle ‘human’ interaction. Company obviously wants a Tesco style self check in/out. Which means info is limited. Room was clean but major issue with sink that choked back and was to brim of god knows what. Response we got was ‘will tell our maintenance colleagues’. Room full of sludge it was then. Car parking confusing. Went to car park next door and charged £42 for a stay. Seemingly ‘we dont deal with them’. Ok but just ok.

We have a night in Glasgow at this time of year to see the lights and usually stay elsewhere so we thought why not try here. Glad we did. Lovely clean modern hotel in excellent position. Good room with very comfy bed. Very quiet and slept really well. Sat in bar for a while as the atmosphere was good. Will return..thanks.

Excellent hotel. Modern and comfortable. I asked for a quiet room and hardly heard a thing all night. Plenty of choice buffet breakfast. Directly opposite Pavillion if you need somewhere near there. My new go to place to stay in Glasgow
