Lovely hotel set in lovely grounds. Great helpful staff. Excellent breakfast and lunch. A lot of stairs and no lift. You had to ring reception for Wi-Fi and no full length mirror in room. Would stay again. Good value
From the minute we walked through the door the staff couldn't do enough to ensure we were happy. We booked the budget twin and it was lovely. It was clean, well decorated and very comfortable. We ate in the restaurant and again, staff fantastic and food was lovely, we also had breakfast which was again very tasty and plenty of options and combinations to choose from. We witnessed the staff dealing with a tricky situation and they were extremely professional and dealt with the issue swiftly as a team always ensuring all their customers were being looked after. The Hotel was extremely clean, comfortable and friendly I wish we had booked 2 nights. We will definitely be back x
We had our daughters surprise birthday here I cannot recommend highly enough Everything was easy from 1st contact with John the prompt response from Diane They organised everything with me having to worry about anything from , food which was fabulous, DJ fabulous, drinks on arrival, all rooms we booked where beautiful and breakfast was 1st class To conclude Hotel 10 is an absolute gem of a hotel in the south side of Glasgow The staff are fantastic people and nothing is a problem to them Myself and my family and friends had a fabulous night because of all of the above Thank for making a special surprise birthday even more special Thank you to all of you We will use Hotel 10 for any family occasion in the future Angel and family especially the birthday girl xx
Stayed here for just one night as we were seeing a gig in Glasgow . On arrival the lady on reception was so helpful and friendly , a real pleasure and a credit to the hotel . We used the bar facilities before we left for the gig and the man working was very friendly and helpful also . On return to the hotel we again used the bar and they had a private function in another room but the barman could t do enough to help and make sure that we all had drinks , even while he was helping at the function . Would definitely recommend this hotel as the rooms were clean and comfortable and the hotel itself is lovely . The staff are all brilliant and a credit to the hotel
Lovely day spent. Staff really nice and very helpful. On arrival, a staff member came out to help one of our party climb the stairs as they noticed her slight difficulty, and seen her right through to her seat. Food was excellent, lots of it. Would definitely recommend it and looking forward to our next visit.
Had an absolutely fantastic weekend for my sons wedding the staff were great from start to finish nothing was a problem for them they went beyond and above too make our son and wife’s day so special thank you for your service Thomas and team
Attended today for an afternoon tea and despite the hotel being busy for a wedding the service was outstanding. Neil in the front bar area was lovely and very attentive during our visit. He was inclusive to my 2 young children and made their day. I would absolutely visit again and recommend to anyone wishing to visit. Neil certainly made our mother's day treat feel like just that. The service was second to none.
We were booked in for the weekend as a wedding gift, and our Executive Suite was lovely, the whole place was toasty warm all the time, the staff were super friendly and the food was excellent, both the restaurant food and the breakfast. The location is superb as well, we will definitely try and visit again.
I should have been alerted by the cups on the breakfast tray. They were both cups rather than mugs but without saucers, not matching, of totally different styles and sizes. That summed up the rest of the room. When we arrived, we were told that our room was up two flights of steep stairs, and that there was no lift. My wife and I are both 80, and we are fine with stairs, but we wondered what would have happened had we not been. Apparently there was no other room free to which to move us. The beds in room 214 were of the kind which I thought had disappeared from hotels decades ago. The mattresses were rock hard and sagged in the middle so that one was sleeping on the springs. There was not a table or a shelf on which to put a suitcase or unpack clothes. The bathroom was small and airless without windows: the extractor fan worked briefly but noisily and then switched itself off. The soap dispenser in the shower didn’t dispense soap, and the toilet needed endless flushings to achieve limited success. The walls were so thin that every movement on the landing sounded as if it was in the middle of our room. One might have been more tolerant in a room which cost, say, £60 per night, but this one cost £100. I complained (to the very pleasant receptionists) in the morning and for our second night we were moved to room 217. That was better, although the toilet had the same problems. The hotel has a promising situation on the fringe of Queen’s Park and is obviously in great demand for private functions, and although the bedrooms are well insulated from noise, it couldn’t silence the thumping of the music well into the night. The hotel describes itself as a “boutique” hotel, and fits that description with its quirky lay out and add-ons, but it turns out to be the sort of boutique hotel which gives chain hotels like Premier Inn and Ibis a good name.…
Lovely, friendly welcome, as always, from Tam. Lunch was delicious steak pie for my hubby and I. My mother in law had the chicken which was just as good and thoroughly enjoyed. We followed with sticky toffee pudding x2 and tablet ice cream & brandy snap for me. Can't fault the place; food, surrondings, service!! We'll be back soon!!
