Great restaurant for pre theatre deal ahead of a theatre visit. Restaurant is directly opposite the Theatre Royal. They have a good value pre theatre menu. Good choice and value. Very attentive staff. Pleasant surroundings. Car parking nearby too with special parking rate after six. Ideal for theatre visit.

This must surely be one of Glasgow's hidden surprises! From the welcome complimentary "wee dram" at check in, to the very friendly staff, and complimentary continental breakfast. Rooms are traditionally furnished, and are very comfortable. The restaurant is very good and the hotel is only a short walk from the City Centre. I would not have any hesitation in recommending... I needed last minute accomodation and got a cheap deal online but wasn't expecting too much. Warmly welcomed at check in with the offer of a complimentary dram and shortbread. Informed breakfast was from 8am, explained I had to leave earlier in the morning, so a breakfast tray was supplied with my choices to my room. Room, not huge but... More

Had a really comfortable stay here. The staff could not have been kinder or more welcoming. The room was lovely - clean, warm and with a great view down one of the main streets in Glasgow. The room wasn't huge, but it had everything I needed - deep bath and fixed and flexible shower heads. The food was lovely, and... More
