Chose this Travelodge thinking it would be just a short walk with my very heavy luggage from there to Glasgow Central Station next morning - it was actually quite a trek. Unusual to see so many staff at a Travelodge, particularly in Reception area - and they were welcoming and friendly too. Noisy outside but that's not the hotel's fault....

Travelling on the Oban train the next day and needed somewhere inexpensive that was near both stations and would take bikes. This did not disappoint. staff were very friendly and welcoming. Room was clean and the hotel is near the main shopping centre and great restaurants. (The Wee Curry Shop close by was exceptionally good). The breakfast was a bit...

Small, but perfectly formed would describe my room. Large comfy double bed, not much room to walk around it but there was a desk and chair - everything I needed. The shower was over a small bath, good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Friendly staff, nice bar downstairs. I did not try breakfast. The hotel is a short...

In many ways, this has everything you'd want from a Travelodge - basic but well maintained rooms, a handy location and breakfast (but the coffee's not good). It had more, too! I managed to mess up my booking and booked for August instead of September, which I discovered when we rolled up and found they had no booking in our...

Had two overnight stays on a recent trip to the West Coast. Not exciting from the outside, but good value for a family of four sharing a room with breakfast. Room was clean, beds comfy, and more spacious than expected. Quiet at night, view was of a brick wall on the first stay (not that this mattered) and a flat...

A good 15 mins walk from Buchanan Street & central shopping area- therefore slightly misleading that its in the centre of the City. However, staff very welcoming & helpful. Nice bar downstairs. Room usual Travelodge standard. Breakfast supplied but beware- as in all travelodges only scrambled eggs available !! Breakfast not really worth the extra charge- but nowhere really close...

I was really impressed with the quality of this hotel, especially since it is a budget hotel. I live in Glasgow and instead of taking a taxi home, I decided to stay. I was with a party of about 15. The hotel were fantastic and the staff went out of their way to be very helpful and really friendly. We...

Outside entrance area not very appealling but inside everything was very clean. Good city centre location was convenient and good value with subsidised multi-storey car park across the road.Very quiet for weekend night. Room was fine with very comfy double bed and powerful shower.

We have stayed at this hotel a few times now. The hotel is basic but clean and has everything to hand, however, it is a pity about the pavement leading up to the Travelodge it is a disgrace. I wish I had taken a picture of the pavement. The Travelodge should complain to Glasgow City Council.
