Lovely setting, an old sandstone building with lots of character. Room was clean and comfortable with a lovely bay window. Dinner and breakfast were large portions and delish (reasonably priced). I must however highlight that the staff were so helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. They even helped me bring my bags in from the car and made...

Over the last three years we have lived in the area we have visited this hotel for drinks and snacks and occasionally food. It is such a "rollercoaster" of an establishment, you can visit and come out on a high or in the depths of disappointment. We used to visit a couple of times a month. It was comfortable and...

Visited with family in the lead up to Christmas. The hotel has been decorated since my last visit and looks much better. The staff were very friendly and attentive throughout our meal, sadly that ends the positives. The menu was very unimaginative, burgers, fish and chips etc, thought it would be better than pub grub. Ordered the cajun chicken burger,...

Was at the Redstones on 16th December for a meal as part of a group of 11in a private room. I was running late and staff gave me a welcome and a menu as soon as I arrived so that I could have my meal at the same time as everyone else. This I greatly appreciated. The main area has been...

Bit disappointed in funeral tea i attended a couple of weeks ago, service very slow , took ages to bring out tea and coffees. Food tasty but not enough sandwiches and sausage rolls to feed hungry people at 5pm .

The room and surrounding location were lovely. There was easy access to the city center, too, but it was far enough away that there was minimal traffic noise at night. However, I couldn't find the television remote control (and I had searched everywhere) and I woke up half way through the night absolutely freezing cold (it almost felt as though...

Beautiful surroundings. Super smart staff and top class food. The menu caters for all tastes. Sure to find something to please. There is always something going on in and around the bar. Dined here previously and have never been dissappointed.

We went here with family. It's a very friendly place, the staff are all attentive and pleasant. Food very good, and prices very attractive. A bit off the beaten track at Uddingston, but if you happen to be there, then Redstones is well worth a visit. Can't say what the rooms are like, as only ate there.

Lunch with mum and aunt. Good choice. Had been here a few months ago when I conducted a wedding ceremony (I'm a Registrar) and liked the look of the place. We arrived at 1.30 on Thursday, not too busy and were greeted immediately and shown to a table. Menu had a good choice, we had fish and chips, thai curry...
