Spent a few hours here for food and drink with friends. Staff were really friendly and the food was great. Plenty of tasty options on the menu and a good selection of drinks at the bar. Not far from Glasgow city center either, and nice outdoor seating. I will visit again!

A really great little hotel (More a pub with rooms really but still great) The staff were all very helpful, cheery and efficient. The rooms are a good size with everything you need and the free parking is an absolute godsend in Glasgow city centre! The location is fantastic with a wealth of bars and restaurants on the doorstep and the main shopping is just a 10 minute walk away. I didn't eat in the bar but the menu looked very comprehensive and well priced. I did drink a few ales in the bar and they were all very good and well kept. I stayed Monday and Tuesday nights but even so the bar was busy, the atmosphere was excellent with a steady flow of customers and a friendly feeling all round. Would definitely recommend and i will certainly stay again when I'm in Glasgow.

The hotel is ideally placed for a visit to Glasgow, and being in the Merchant City it could not be any more convenient for exploring the pubs, restaurants and shops in the city centre. The rooms are located on the top floor so you don’t hear a thing from the very busy pub on the bottom floor. The room was big enough, tastefully decorated, warm and spotlessly clean. The bathroom too was spotlessly clean. The continental breakfast was generous and had a good selection on offer. I thought the price of £95 was very competitive and represented good value for money. I found the staff to be welcoming and friendly. I would definitely book a room there again.

1st time eating here & pleasantly surprised at how good it was! Service from the young waiters was superb, there was a mix up with one of our friends not getting their main course, but it was rectified quickly, very apologetic & took her drink off the final bill. Nice touch having a small acoustic session going on as we are. Well impressed, great food, we'll be back!

Quiet, clean and comfortable, spotless decor and plenty of amenities. I never knew of the place until a friend recommended it and it’s only a short walk from everything central, it’s also reasonably priced! Included is a great continental breakfast (you can have cooked for a fee but I only eat exactly what was there anyway!) in a charming setting. The staff were friendly and welcoming and I’ll book there for my visits in future!

Can’t rate the room highly enough for the price, with a lovely continental breakfast which we weren’t aware was included. Rooms look newly refurbished with modern furniture, amenities, and lovely bathroom. Spotless! This is an old building, the rooms situated above a popular bar, so be prepared for the stair climb over a few floors to get to the room. No lift. Staff friendly and welcoming. Great stay here in the heart of the Merchant City area of the city.

Nice old building with modern hotel rooms inside. Pub and beer garden. Good breakfast and parking included. Friendly staff who answered all questions (about parking options, how to get to the hotel etc.) in advance. Perfectly located. Absolutely recommendable.

First time here. Great atmosphere for drinks - there was live music playing. Great choice of drinks and great service despite being very busy. We booked a table which i imagine is necessary for a Saturday night.

1st time here, it was amazing. We had the private room upstairs. Food was fab, fresh, hot & well presented. My meal was delicious: prawn & crab co ktail, cajan chicken gollowed by cheese & oatcakes. . The staff were excellent always on hand. If in the area, it is worth a visit. Would recommend to everyone.

A little out of the city centre but well worth finding - booking advisable. (They have a 2nd bar nearby). Warm friendly atmosphere and attentive staff. Limited Menu with some humour hidden within - tasty food but they don't appear to take themselves to seriously. Tasteful decor. Meeting place for friends it would seem and so a lovely buzz to the place. We were even luckier as they had some live musicians added to the atmosphere now and again. Looking forward to going back
