Been a regular in here fir years and after much needed upgrade and change of owners it's really good especially the beer garden. So it's really disappointing that they are allowing it to become similar to other bars in the merchant city by allowing sectarian singing and large groups of so called football fans take over. If that's the clientele they want to encourage with that type of chanting then it will quickly lose custom. There are enough pseudo Irish bars in the Merchant City don't turn this into another one and respect all your customers.

Stayed one night. Staff is so friendly and helpful. Room was warm and cozy. Restaurant was great, bar was wonderful. Highly recommend staying here. But, no handicap access. If you can't climb stairs, don't stay here

A very warm welcome at the Babbity. Room was compact but very clean, breakfast (continental) was excellent and once again all the staff were very friendly and genuinely interested in you. 5 star hotels could learn a lot from these guys. Only complaint was the water pressure from the shower (room 1) was weak. Excellent stay, thank you.

I almost thought customer service was on the past but came here, there were exceptionally busy, but the bar tender/landlord, actually took the time each time him came to the bar, to apologize and say will be with you in 2 minutes, that's customer care, that's service, that's how it should be, I am happy to wait all night with good service and communication and ps food is awesome!!!

I stayed for 2 nights recently and as a solo traveller from the minute I walked in, I felt totally welcome. My suitcase was carried up to the 2nd floor (no lift if one were required incidentally). There is a security code to get to the hallway that the bedrooms are on, so very safe. My room whilst not large had everything I needed, although bring your own shampoo, cotton wool etc. Bed extremely comfy. Great shower. Breakfast (continental) was exceptionally good (wonderful coffee). The amazing staff made this hotel perfect for me, plus the fact it was so central (about 8 minutes from Queen Street station). I'd certainly stay again!
