Detailed Reviews
Nice hotel its a premier inn not the crown palace. Staff were lovely and friendly. Room was clean and tidy! Bed was amazing super comfy and cozy. We had called down for a couple of extra towels the girl at reception was more than happy to help and got them sent up super quick!
We had actually booked this hotel after walking out of the apparently “4* Lorn Hotel” in glasgow which we had booked as it was filthy mould everywhere, window, bed+ mattress, tiles and ROOM DOOR all broke!!! So we checked in here instead cant believe the difference in standards!! We will be staying here again thats for sure!

The staff I encountered were very friendly, cheery, and efficient, checking in, using Covid-19 safeguards in the restaurant, and checking out. But the hotel itself is showing its age, needing painting in places, worn carpeting, things like that. The office buildings in the surrounding blocks are mostly closed, due to the pandemic. There were a few people panhandling on the streets, but that’s not just in the hotel’s neighborhood, it’s also around George Square. Still, it added to the seedy atmosphere of this hotel. It’s very inexpensive, so that’s a plus, and breakfast was good.

Suitable for my overnight business stay. I would not like longer stay.Room below par in bathroom (floor) and heating consisted of old convector replacing original. Looked far from safe. Basics in place but no more. One lift out of order..Restaurant pleasant.

For £35 a night ( that`s £17.50 per person ) don`t expect a spa bath with views over the river Clyde and a trendy cocktail bar with pony tailed mixologists, I`m sure all can be found nearby for another £150 a night.
What you get is a friendly welcome, a voucher to use for nearby car parking which saves about £15 a day, a comfy bed, nice big towels ( the room comes with 1 bath towel but the lift takes you to the ground floor where the friendly staff will immediately give you another ) a decent shower with a shower curtain that doesn`t wrap itself round you and actually stops water spraying onto the floor.
The hotel bar and restaurant is currently closed but they offer a fairly reasonable room service menu.
We stayed 2 nights and chose the option to hang our own towels up and straighten the duvet, quite clever and helps keep the costs down

after being forced to stay another night in Glasgow due to train cancellations , the Premier Inn was my first choice based on 10 years of almost exclusively staying in 100's of them all over the UK on business .
How disappointed to check into the room and see the small .oldest TV set sat on the desk _ impossible to view it whilst sat on the bed .
the Premier inn s were starting to upgrade en masse 4 years ago and the new rooms are beautiful with mood lighting and 40" wall mounted flat screen .
this must be one of the last ones or they forgot to do it !
chipped paintwork and stained bath fittings ,horrible yellow wall lights and just generally needed some TLC .
after a stressful afternoon in the Train Station trying to get home ,we were looking forward to relaxing in the room and watching TV - went out to the pub instaed and left early next morning with giving them the benefit of our custom at breakast .
c'mon Premier Inn you're a major hotel Chain -we stayed at th Novotel the night before for the same price and it was a class apart .
staff were great though ...
wont be coming back here to this Premier Inn

This hotel is our go to place when staying in Glasgow as prices are very affordable and the rooms are so comfy. The rooms are also very clean and the beds are very comfortable too. The hotel is also very central as it is less than a 10 minute walk to reach the city centre shops and restaurants.

Honestly, it’s so difficult to fault the Premier Inn. Great service, a cosy room - especially coming in from the pouring rain. It was excellent. Plus, as someone who loves their tea quite sweet I was so happy I could just pick up some more sugar at reception, so that hungover me wasn’t too angry at drunk me.

Awfully dated, unclean urine smelling building ! So much so we didn’t stay even though we had paid our money! We intend on putting in a formal complaint and requesting a refund. Staff told us the building is up for sale so no investment is being made. We moved to Buchanan Premier Inn which is so much nicer and paid again !
Only ticked one star as I couldn’t tick zero stars!

The hotel room and public area is in need of a refit and does not represent the brand that well compared to others.
Staff were very friendly and the restaurant was good.
All in all a decent stay. I give this a 3 as although I wouldn't rush back, due to the fact it is tired, I would stay here again based upon location and price.

+1
Possibly the worst Premier Inn room I've stayed in. Black mold on the ceiling, the carpet was filthy, stains in the bathroom, ripped light fittings. It just didn't look clean at all. Breakfast was the one redeeming feature. It was cheap, but on reflection I'd rather pay more and stay in an alternative in Glasgow next time.

From what I can remember yes but I’d take your own as it will be a lot better
A double and a small single bed. Yet to be in any premier inn that has 2 single beds. Always a double and small single. Single not very comfortable tbh.
Qpark in Waterloo St. They have a deal with them. Good car park. Premier inn still haven’t refunded me for double charging my card. Regardless of that - the floor we were on stank of disinfectant. Next time I’ll stay at the Novotel nearby or the Radissin Blu down the street. The Novotel is much better value in terms of facilities.
