The Marriott in downtown Glasgow is walkable to the business district and city center (10-15 minutes). The Hop On/Hop Off bus has a stop directly across the street. It has a large comfortable lounge area that is widely used as the hotel "living room" by guests and is adjacent to the bar/pub and restaurant. The free wifi in this area...

I would recommend taking the upgrade on offer which covers drinks in the evening and soft drinks during the day and breakfast in a small restaurant on the 12th floor. All staff were really friendly as was everyone in Glasgow

A lovely hotel with shing marble effect floors. The reception staff were polite and helpful. The room was not fancy but clean and reasonably spacious. The bar staff were nice and the snack meals there were tasty and reasonably priced.

Stayed for two nights and couldn't fault it. A short distance from city centre but only 10 mins walk. Service and facilities were great, kids loved the pool. Staff excellent. Great hotel for either business or pleasure.

This was the second time we have stayed here when attending an event at the SSE Hydro, which is only a 10 minute walk along the river - avoiding the dreaded taxi queue! Room is spacious with a large bathroom. Beds are comfortable and the room provides all that is needed for an overnight stay. £9 a day for parking,...

We stayed one night at the Glasgow Marriott as part of a tour package. The beds were comfy. Instant coffee and a water pot were in the room. The help yourself buffet breakfast was very good with a large variety. Among the choices they offered a full Scottish breakfast with haggis and black bread. Also, plenty of cheeses, fruits, yogurt,...
