Stayed here for a concert with husband and 8 year old. Booked a family room that had 2 double beds. Room was beautiful. Service at reception was excellent and parking very good. This is an excellent hotel for SSE Hydro concerts, less than 5 minute walk. All staff very friendly an

We chose the hotel as it had good reviews and was close to concert location.
Check in was really quick and the reception staff very efficient. The room was ready and it is a lovely room so spacious and the bed is a ‘no roll together’ 😂 it’s huge.
We’ve been in the bar and it’

I was here for a function and the service was appalling. If you plan to spend money on an event do not do it here. They messed up the drink order, which happens we are human, but then continued to argue with us and wouldn’t make good on their mess up. Then took ages before we got

Arrived on a Sunday afternoon after booking through Booking.com.
Receptionist tried to say room needed paying for despite the fact I'd paid upon booking.
Also told me breakfast wasn't included which again was wrong as I'd paid for this with the booking.

The location down by the river is fantastic, however this does put you a little distance from the city centre, but within a £10 taxi rider. the Hotel is also a great location for the SSE.

Our room was great on the 7th floor and the staff where great with a couple of minor issue

Is there prosecco available in the club lounge? Thanks
Hi we have used the crowne plaza hotel for years now and the choice of alcohol in the club lounge is pretty basic, white/red wine bottled lager etc but I have never seen prosecco both either free or for sale.

This year me and my work colleagues are attending the Crowne plaza for our Christmas party night out. Can someone that’s has been here for Christmas party please tell me what the dress code is like?
Have not been to a particular Christmas do here, but when we were here, there were a few 'parties' done. They were pretty much the usual kind of dresses for ladies, and informal wear for the gents. Guessing from that, I would think that the dress code for any Christmas do is pretty much the same everywhere else. Hope that helps.

Is it free parking on site?
There is a charge for parking which can be paid at reception. It works quite cheap when compared to the public parking rates, I think around £6 for 24 hours.

Looking to book a spa day but heard the facilities are a bit tired. Has anyone been recently ?
the facilities here are very dated and look worse than a high school locker room. The pool is OK, but everything else is pretty yucky. The shower stalls in the women's locker room had mold all over. I did not have a massage, so I can't speak to that. I'd go somewhere else if I were you.
