Spent a night here with a best friend for girly catch up and it was lovely.near the hub of west end nightlife allows you to pop out for a walk and visit some nice bars including Oran Mor. The room was big with steps down to a seated area with wardrobes and huge bathroom! The bedroom also had a sofa...

This was a Christmas family get-together, including a one-year old baby and six-year old boy, so we went for the 'private dining' option. We were entertained in a lovely, cosy room full of character. The food was very good and there was ample choice of dishes for everyone's taste. But it was the lovely surroundings and the excellent service from...

We stayed here on a one night stop over on the way to Caithness. It was a lovely experience, the room was very comfortable and stylish. Free parking outside and easy walk in to the West end of Glasgow.

Stayed here on several occasions. This overnight visit was the best yet. Lovely quirky mini suite, staff very professional and attentive, delicious evening meal and breakfast was very nice too. We had a very relaxing stay and will continue to return to this hotel. Management doing a good job.

My wife and I had a really nice couple of nights and have just arrived home, We were in the attic room which had a large dormer window in both the bedroom and bathroom. The rooms are dark although i personally find it relaxing. We were on a bed and breakfast rate and paid approx £100 per night which in...

Where to start... we paid a handsome sum for a two night stay over the New Year and were excited for our annual tradition of a 5 star hotel for New Year. When we arrived there was no door man or anyone to greet us or take our bags from the car, we shuffled into the reception area where we...

Reading some reviews I can understand what people mean when they say it is needing a good refurbishment but, I beg to differ. We stayed in a lovely room with a large bathroom and found the hotel , and especially the staff very good . Overall it was an enjoyable stay at a good rate. The decor is typical of...

Have stayed here several times over the last few years and it never disappoints! We took advantage of the excellent value January deal of DB&B.If our room was indeed a standard room, as we hadn't requested an upgrade, it was truly fabulous with sumptuous curtains, cushions, coffee maker and a "Wow" bathroom. Loved it! We enjoyed spending an afternoon sitting...

Typical - some chain buys a once beautiful and unique hotel and then runs it into the ground, trading off its formerly good reputation whilst putting nothing back in. No doubt they will sell it on soon. What a bloody shame. We stayed in a suite and it was shabby. Housekeeping was woeful, staff ill informed about surrounding area. Only good...

We had four nights here over new year on a return visit. We found the room this time to be a bit brighter and lighter decorated than before and it was large and comfy, with sofa and chairs. We liked the comfortable bed and good quality linens, although the quilts could do with being a bit wider as they only...
