Worth every penny, staff are very good, atmosphere is very relaxing, rooms are fantastic, and food is perfect. I will definitely be visiting again without hesitation. Breakfast was very nice and well cooked , but I wish we had stayed for dinner instead of eating elsewhere.

Just back from an overnight stay, would agree with most posts. The room was comfortable and the quality of the food was good although the portions were small. We stayed on one of the Hotels own Sunday deals, 3course Dinner and bed and Full breakfast. We were given a 7pm booking for dinner when we phoned to book. Prior to dinner...

One Devonshire Gardens had been on our 'bucket list' for some years, however it turned out to be mediocre at best. Spacious room overlooking Gt.Western Rd., but so dark that I had to read my newspaper in the bathroom. Great bath for a wallow (bath robes okay for stick insects) Splendid wine list, duck terrine good, but the mains consisted...

My girlfriend and I stayed at the hotel on Sunday and had a the most wonderful time. The team was so welcoming and helpful. Great room with everything you would expect from a 5 star hotel! Superb breakfast. Thank you to Alan and the team for looking after us so well. Already planning our next visit.

Visited on a Sunday at the end of February and went for the Sunday stopover deal, spend £75 in the restaurant and get the room for £45. For a couple it's very easy to spend the £75 and then some but the fantastic food and wine list is worth it. The hotel and staff are very dog friendly and our...

I must give five stars for the sake of the most beautiful staff ever. I had to change room due to reasons spelled amazingly loud and persistent "Sex and the city of Glasgow" romance going on in the neighbouring room making the falls fall down but the staff managed it just beautifully and with a good sense of humour. Make...

Had afternoon tea here this afternoon. First class. Excellent food, professional service and intimate atmosphere. The level of service from the staff was particularly impressive - I can't remember the last time I received such good service. Highly recommended.

We stayed for a single night. The room was superb in terms of quality and cleanliness but what made the stay special was the staff. There seems a much higher than normal staff to guest ratio and every one of them without exception greeted us as if we were special and very welcome. We only eat breakfast here but that...

We use the Hotel du Vin hotel group as a matter of preference wherever we are that has a Hotel du Vin. I have to say that all of the Hotels du Vin at which we have stayed have been great but Glasgow (1 Devonshire Terrace as was) is absolutely magnificent - and it allows dogs that can be walked...

Had a nice 4-course lunch with wine in a very relaxed atmosphere. Good choice on offer for each of the courses. Extremely friendly and courteous staff, from front desk through to the waiting staff who were both Italian. Will definitely be back.
