I visited twice this month. Firstly I must mention how professional and nice the staff on reception and try to help the client in everyway possible. Unfortunately the side was let down by the room cleaners and the restaurant. The quality of service in the restaurant is random depending on who is on duty. One night I waited for 2...

A Glasgow hotel cannot be more central than the Grand Central. Perched above the Grand Central station, this is an antique property refurbished for the modern traveller. The exterior and interiors are inspiring and the décor has a luxury feel to it. The central staircase and the chandelier are delightful. The rooms are well appointed, spacious and comfortable - while...

We stayed here four nights. Staff welcoming and helpful. The room on the second floor faced the station but very quiet. There were two rooms. One with a little sitting area, tv and wardrobes. Spotlessly clean. Changed what we needed.

Grand Central is a great hotel at the Glasgow Central Station, all staff were super and the large rooms and bathrooms at this hotel are clean and great value. Bar prices not cheap but very nice popular bar overlooking station platforms. I travelled to Murrayfield during my stay so hotel location was great.

I booked a single room, which had an huge bathroom, with tube. Not the most modern hotel BUT it's quaint. Bed comfy, the window opened up about 6 inches let in some cool air. And you are right in town. Served my needs.

Stayed with my sister for a 5 night stop in Glasgow. We loved everything from the grand old hotel entrance and central stairway to our lovely comfy roomy. Spent a bit of time in the Champagne bar which overlooks the central railway with its Victorian style adding to the charm of the hotel. Staff were friendly and always helpful. Their...

We called in on the off chance of a table and eventhough we were late to eat they found us a table for 6. All the staff were helpful and polite. They had full historical knowledge of the hotel. The assistant manager Yasmine Gibb was the most charming and knowledgeable of them all. She gave a book on the history...
