Stayed here for two nights and was perfect for my stay, beds were really comfy and the heating in my room was great as I could turn it up and down as I wished. I opted for a shared bathroom, which was never a problem because there are a few bathrooms throughout the house. The free laundry service was perfect. Parking was never a problem and my room looked over a nice garden. Don’t be put off by any bad reviews. You get what you pay for and with a really nice host. (I think his name was Robert) thanks Glades house. I will definitely stay again soon.

theres better value in glasgow to be had. First impressions, looks nice from the outside, great for parking, upon entry, awful old peoples home smell in the hallway, dated but clean, there was a black hair on the bedsheet next to a pillow and a piece of chewing gum stuck to the skirting between the beds, was OK apart from that. I seen a review on booking.com titled 'glasweigen gem', seriously?? Who goes to an old peoples home and says it's a gem, maybe if you've lossed your sense of smell and can't see the odd hair or chewing gum cause you have impaired vision? They aye it's spot on! This guest house is in or close to a very rough area, shop around, you'll find just as good value but without the bad bits.
