Visited on business. The rooms were large and clean. The bathroom was stylish with plenty of space to put your own toiletries down. Rooms are supplied with a small kettle, Nespresso maker and pods, safe, mini fridge, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. I was very impressed. The shower had great power and really lovely at the end of a packed day. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept in. All the staff were friendly and very, very helpful. I can't recommend enough!
I stayed for 1 night recently with my husband and daughter..... we booked in at short notice and needed to check in asap (10 in the morning). I made the booking online and phoned the hotel shorty after. I explained I needed to check in early and if that was possible,. the kind gentleman on the phone explained to come ahead and check in, if there was a room ready they would allocate it to us and if not, they would be able to store our bags for us. Upon arrival, we were met by the ever so friendly and lovely Julie who was so professional, informative and overall showed extreme enthusiasm and professionalism in her work. We were lucky that a room was ready that we could check into right away. Check in was fast and we made our way to a simply out of this world room with a stunning view of the Hydro arena. we stayed in room 523 and simply felt like VIP's with such a stunning room. The room was pristine with the highest standard of hygiene ever!!. Room was equipped with all the perks, coffee machine, hair dryer. iron, iron board, 52inch (I think lol) Smart TV, fridge, safe.... the full works!. Along with toiletries in the bathroom. Shampoo, conditioner, lotions etc. HUGE praise for the accommodation team, who clearly take pride in their work to turn these rooms around and have them in such stunning condition for their guests. They are often the unsung heroes of hotels as they work mostly behind the scenes and get little to no encounters with guests. but here at this hotel, they deserve to have their work recognized and commended. Later that day we made our way to the RED Bar on the 9th floor overlooking the arena and enjoyed a drink in a bright, vibrant, energetic and overall happy surroundings. The staff were so helpful and just seemed so happy in their work. making friendly chit chat and just so happy to help in any way they could. We ate in the hotel restaurant that evening, where we served by the lovely Emma. Again, just so professional, kind and bubbly to speak to. Checked on us regularly and couldn't do enough for us. our meal (butter chicken tikka) was simply stunning! so fresh and tender with just the right size portion to allow for enough room to indulge in the ever so tasty sticky toffee pudding dessert ;) I could not fault the restaurant service if I tried! it was simply 10/10. Again, the same at breakfast the following morning. The food was fresh and delicious was an abundance of choice. between traditional fries, continental, cereals, sweet or savory menu choices, fresh juices, huge selection of croissants and sweet treats.... there was nothing spared and all so so so fresh!!!. I noted that even though we went for breakfast between 9 and 10, which seemed to be the busiest time, the staff were still so friendly, professional and swift in their work. The busy morning rush didn't seem to hinder them at all. One thing that really stood out for me with this hotel in comparison to other hotels I have stayed in, was their sense of inclusion. I had my 9 year old daughter with me, and every time we spoke with a member of staff they all spoke directly to her as well and conversed with her 1 to 1. when taking our orders in the bar, at dinner and at breakfast, we were all asked individually what we would like, our daughter included. The staff really went above and beyond to make us ALL feel welcome and included in our stay and i cannot commend them enough. Overall, 10/10. Just simply amazing! I am not from Scotland, but if i ever return to Glasgow in the future, I know where I will be staying!! ;)…
We were met by Stevie on arrival who looked after us the whole way through our lunch. We had a lovely and memorable experience. Stevie was very welcoming and helpful. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was great.
I came in to the bar with my sister and partner before the OTI show . I went to the bar and asked for ginger beer . Half lager. And a large red . The waiter asked if i wanted merlot or rioja ? Thinking it was the same price i says rioja. I got handed the card machine to do contactless payment . I looked at receipt when i sat down and it says £19.40 . I was shocked at the price and thought maybe he charged me for two red wines by mistake . I asked the waiter to check and he says a rioja was £13.70 a glass !!!! And the merlot was £9.30 . Why wasnt i told at the bar in ordering that it was £5 a difference??? Absolutely shocking . Never paid £13.70 in my life for a glass of wine 🍷 . I wont be back
I can honestly say this is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in a long time. It’s fresh, vibrant and has excellent facilities, in particular the sky bar, with amazing views. The rooms are spotlessly clean and there’s just a fresh clean smell everywhere. The quirkiness of the hotel from the artwork to the design is stunning. Beds and pillows v comfortable . There’s a Nespresso machine for coffee and also kettle for tea. The staff are very helpful. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay there again. Perfect if attending any concerts at SSEC👍👍
From the moment we arrived we were treated almost as one of the family, the service and attention to detail were exemplary. Our room, #401, was bright and airy and overlooked the river which was just as we requested. All of the staff, and especially Hannah, were helpful and could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable. We were here to visit family and friends and will certainly be back again. Thank you to everyone involved.
Really nice place to stay lots of food options around great for going to the ovo rooms are very quiet for a good night's sleep beds are very comfy pillows not so much but overall nice 3 night stay thanks
Great standard room, amazing views. Staff were welcoming Enjoyed drinks at the Sky bar, had a great atmosphere. Breakfast was lovely, continental buffet and a menu for hot breakfast. Great choices We will definetly return.
After a lengthy drive we arrived at the Radisson Red hotel in Glasgow. The location is excellent, check in was flawless and the room on the 8th floor was superb with views of the river etc. Our stay was topped off by our visit to the sky bar on the 9th floor. Excellent setting and ambiance. One of the best pizzas we’ve had in a long time. however, the stay was topped off by the professional and friendly staff particularly Ian and Hanna. Thank you guys for making not only the best cocktails but also for making us feel welcome. Ian and Hanna are undoubtedly a credit to the hotel and one of the reasons we will be staying at the Radisson Red again when next in Glasgow
We arrived and the girls on reception were so helpful, really chatty and good fun, gave us a voucher for a drink in the sky bar for each of us, what a lovely start to our stay, came back from hydro and had amazing pizza and wine in the bar, breakfast was delicious and again staff were brilliant, only downside was there was a function on in the sky bar and we were on floor 8 right under it, I didn't sleep until the function stopped as I could hear every beat and word of the songs, wouldn't accept floor 8 next time, doesn't distract from a fab stay and we will be back, loved the fact it was dog friendly, got to meet some gorgeous pooches in the bar, thanks for a brilliant stay 💗
