My sister and I were really impressed with this hotel. The rooms were clean, modern and quiet, and despite having picked a windowless room, there was a frosted panel thing which made the room nice and bright. We got free breakfast by booking directly through Point A’s website, and had nice self-serve breakfast options available. The bathroom sometimes had a horrible smell (my sister thinks it might have been stagnant water, despite us using the toilet, tap and shower regularly), and it would have been nice if the bathroom had a hand towel (there was a foot mat and two bath towels), but both of these things were relatively minor issues.
Ilia and Petar were extremely helpful. I was in need of a room quite late at night and they did everything they could to give me a good deal. 5/5. Both very customer orientated even on such a late shift and seemed cheerful to be doing what there were doing. Thanks again.
Great location, really helpful and friendly staff and had a fantastic sleep and the bathroom was absolutely fantastic. Second visit this year and we will definitely be back again at some point (A) this year.
I stayed for 2 nights and was very happy with the service and facilities. Reception staff were very happy to help me with a restaurant recommendation. I am a woman in my 50’s travelling alone so wanted to eat somewhere I felt comfortable. Jane recommended Verona on West Regent Street just a few minutes from the hotel. It was so good I ate there both nights. Hotel is great location for Central Train Station and Buchanan Bus Station both of which I used and general sightseeing.
We were out and about and the hotel was just what we needed great value but a fantastic room. Sleep so well, and the room was very efficient but had it all. We did not need a window, and we didn’t miss it.
Point A Hotel was comfortable with a high tech set up. Everything was controlled with the room key and wall panel. The room was very compact. Bathroom was fine for myself and daughter but would have been tight for a larger person. We had 2 twin beds; there was a night stand for only 1 bed; used the folding chair as a nightstand on the other side. A luggage rack would have been a nice addition..
We spent two nights at Point A Glasgow and we had a really positive experience. The staff we professional and courteous from the moment of check-in to the moment we checked out. We went for a small windowless room because we only needed somewhere to rest our heads in the evening. The room was well designed and had everything we needed. We particularly liked the ability to change the lights to whatever colour and hue you liked (especially the 'disco' lights!). It was clean, secure and comfy. The fact it had no windows made for a very, very sound sleep! There is a coffee and tea machine behind reception where you can get a drink and some snacks. There's also breakfast available in the lounge, which looked nice and plentiful, but we wandered out into Glasgow for breakfast on both mornings. We thoroughly recommend this hotel for a safe and comfy couple of nights. There are also lots of eateries and bars nearby to keep you occupied.…
The room is very small but the hotel is located in a very convenient spot of the city center. The pricing is attractive. Room was clean with good shower and bed. The 24 hour reception was a plus and you could also get coffee there.
The hotel is in a great location, staff were helpful and friendly, rooms were very clean. The only thing is I would have liked tea/coffee making facilities in the room. The rooms were also air conditioned which was pleasing. I did not avail of breakfast
My partner was refused into the room as he couldn't remember the room number because he had 1 too many. Staff were laughing at him and had no respect at all. Instead if coming to an agreement the chucked him out as he was frustrated at them. If you like being looked down at and given no respect then this hotel is for you. Rooms basic and very dusty. Pillow cases on wrong way just an awful experience.
