Stayed at this hotel for 1 night while at the SECC, can't say enough good things about this hotel, clean, good size, modern bathroom, GHD's in the rooms were a lovely touch. Good location and lovely friendly staff! The breakfast was lovely and ample tea and coffee in the rooms. Fantastic stay and would definitely stay again!!

I stayed the night in this hotel when attending a 2 day conference in Glasgow. The hotel is situated in a quiet street near to Glasgow City Centre. From when I arrived the duty receptionist could not have been more helpful. The room was well appointed with a very comfortable bed and excellent en-suite shower room. The hotel was able...

The Acorn hotel is fantastically located. two minutes walk from Sauchiehall Street where you can find the Centre for Contemporary Arts and many cool places to drink and eat. The hotel is small and quiet with fantastic and friendly staff. It has good wifi easy parking and excellent value for money.

My husband and i have just spent the night in a lovely hotel situated in a quiet leafy corner of Glasgow. We were in Glasgow for a concert at the Kings Theatre on the 26th and I had booked the hotel to make a night of it in town. Roslyn on reception checked us in pretty quickly and explained about...

A wee gem, hidden away, but five minutes from city centre. From the minute we arrived, to sitting down to greakfast, I have paid a lot more for a lot less! Blown away with all aspects! Alan, the receptionist, was just brilliant! The hotel itself, was spotless, very spacious room with all amenities and big fluffy towels!!! Freshly cooked breakfast...

After reading all the wonderful reviews we booked to stay two separate nights in this hotel. On arrival we had to ring the bell for entry - we were received by a very unfriendly receptionist! Not one smile - no chat! On returning from our concert the entrance was unlit and it was difficult to find the card slot. Very...

The Acorn was a wonderful find, not far from the centre but far enough not to be crowded. The welcome from Roz on reception was lovely, she coldn't do enough for us over the weekend and was always there with a welcome and a goodbye. The room was quite and cozy with a great shower. There is no lift but...

Friendly local hotel; cheap and convenient parking; bar below and good places to eat nearby. Clean and well decorated rooms. There is not a lift and some rooms on second floor - so be prepared! Overall, a wonderful place that I will be coming back to.

We came to Glasgow for a wedding and we stayed at the charming Acorn Hotel. From the minute we arrived the lovely receptionist was a delight to deal with. We were given a really warm welcome by Roz on reception who took the time to ask our plans and suggest some places we could visit. It was really appreciated.
