stayed for 1 night. checked in about 7pm and was given a key to a room in the basement level. I couldn't get the key to work so returned to reception. The receptionist then came with me (as though I didn't know how to open the door) with a handful of keys. She too couldn't get my key to work,...

Stayed here as I was on vacation and wanted a cheap hotel located in the City Centre. This isn't a five star but for what it is, it's very nice. It has a wonderful character about it and is smack dab in the middle of the city centre. Located close to shops, the museum, restaurants and a wonderful theatre. If...

Check in person was lousy. Never had this happen before. There is construction next door, it's noisy and dusty. Room is tiny and in need of a facelift. Old building with lots of charm, but lugging your suitcase up 3 flights of stairs is just not what we were hoping for. Try another hotel

Friendly staff on reception and in breakfast. Nice decent size room which was very clean apart from the windows being dirty which I can understand as it must be a thankless task cleaning windows with the large scale building work going on nearby. We weren't too badly affected by noise. Some traffic and chatter in the early hours but you...

Only stayed here for one night for my friends hen night. Location was great, easy to get to, in city centre but on a quieter street so lovely and quiet. Rooms were good size, very clean. Bed was so comfortable. Great value for money. Would definitely stay here again if I visit Glasgow.

I stayed in this hotel for four nights as I attended a congress in Glasgow. All I needed from a hotel were bed and breakfast and a reasonable location (downtown and walking distance from the SECC). These I got for a reasonable price. Having read previous reviews I pretty much knew what to expect from my small standard single room....

There was demolition work going on in the neighbourhood and that was explained and so not unexpected. It is, however, somewhat uncomfortably close to Sauchiehall Street and so the effluent from the bars and theatres can sometimes be quite disruptive outside the hotel if you are trying to get a good night's sleep. The single room with king I had...

This hotel is of Perfect location for the city. We were told that our room was classed as a small room, however for the two of us there was plenty of room and wouldn't class it as been too small for a couple (we were in room 101) the bed was comfortable, the ensuite bathroom looked lovely, was clean and...

Enjoyed our stay here. Room was a little dated and rather dusty. This is easily rectified. Having said this it was acceptable. Interesting building. Breakfast ok but dining area is lacking in character. Good weekend deal. Car parking is close by and reasonably priced thanks to the hotel deal. A good base for exploring the city.
