The main hall was welcoming and clean looking. The staff were all lovely, very friendly. Our room was big enough to accommodate 2 double beds and 1 single bed comfortably, with space enough for our cases and to move about. The room was a little tired looking but it was a budget hotel and we didn't expect it all to...

Avoid this hotel. Overpriced even for a budget hotel. Bedroom tiny and smelled awful glad it was for one night only. Breakfast greasy, poor quality produce and staff unfriendly. Would NEVER stay here again

Arrived on Friday to be told I was being given a room on the third floor. Before i can see the room they INSIST on being paid for the FULL weekend upfront. I ask if there was a lift as I'm classed as disabled with cardiac and mobility issues and they say no. I try and make it. The carpets...

My partner and I where attending an event in Glasgow yesterday and decided it would be beneficial to stay the night. My cousin from Australia had all ready booked a room for her and a friend so we decided to tag along! Well what a big mistake that was! When we arrived they where complaining about taking the payment but...

Recently stayed at the Smiths Hotel in glasgow. Absolute shambles! Filthy black. Staff were rude. Food was awful. Place stank. Had our own bathroom however the pipe was burst in the toilet and stank the whole room out. Very disappointed like all the money i spent for me and my boyfriend to have a nice time. It was anything but......

As you'll see from the photos this place is awful and falling apart. Shower won't stay hot, bedding has holes in it and carpets held together by gaffer tape. That God it's only for one night. Staff are friendly but that's the only plus point. It's -1 outside yet there's no heating on! Bit of a death trap if the...

Filthy dirty: dirty sheets, carpets, shared bathrooms. Stank of cigarettes. Dilapidated: frayed carpets, wallpaper etc. Noisy: traffic, other people's phonecalls heard through paper thin walls (plus snoring!!) Rip-off: way over priced for such a dump. AVOID.

Needed an affordable place to stay the night after concert due to trains not running to Stirling. Very unfriendly looks right away as I entered the hotel from reception staff. I pleasantly said Hi reservation for "my name" I was then asked for ID, I said back ID? I was angry at that, never once I have been asked for...
