My wife and I spent three nights at the Glasgow Guest House and found it to be outstanding. From our welcome, to our farewell it was a pleasurable experience. I,'ll keep this review short and sweet as its all pretty much summed up in the others. Value for money, cleanliness, location are all big factors when choosing accommodation, but when...

A great place in a lovely area of Glasgow - beautiful old homes and an amazing old "pub" for dinner! One train station to city. My sister and I had the apartment which was well set up. Clean and such comfortable beds! John was a great host, the home has beautiful decor. Cooked breakfast was generous and delicious. The place...

Me and my sister stayed there for two nights and had such a great stay at the Glasgow Guest House. John was such a great host! You cannot have a better one! He takes care of everyone! And you can call him 24 hours. Everything is very clean and nice and smells good.

We'll run and spotlessly clean accommodation. An excellent value that suited our needs just right. John made us feel at home. The sitting room and breakfast conservatory were lovely. Our breakfasts were made to order and delivered piping hot! We found the location to be perfect, not far from the airport and the highway, with available car parking, in a...

Came across this Guest House purely by chance and what a brilliant stroke of luck it proved. Set in very tranquil location only a few hundred yard of the motorway and only a few minutes drive from the city centre this place is a gem. Staff incredibly friendly and helpful, go out of their way to accommodate you and make...

I really enjoyed my stay at Glasgow Guest House. Felt very at home there. Some guests actually live there during the week and commute to their homes elsewhere in the UK. They make their own meals in the guest kitchen, enjoy the private back patio and common living room. Great alternative to a hotel.

Went to Glasgow to watch the Manics Gig with my Girlfriend - Great place to stay. Staff really helpful and breakfast was amazing. I actually felt bad only paying £60 - they probably could charge more. Rooms en suit etc & very clean. Its not directly in the center of town( Its a £6 taxi ride into the center of...

During our visit to Glasgow, our stay at the Glasgow Guest House was quite wonderful. John truly made us feel at home, providing us with literature and recommendations on how to travel and what to see around the area. He suggested visiting the Bellahouston Park nearby and we are glad that we did on such a beautiful day. The breakfast...

John and the Glasgow Guest House hardly need another five star review, but we'll add one anyway. We spent seven nights, visiting Glasgow and dropping our daughter for college. We couldn't be happier we stayed here. John is a wonderful host. Great breakfasts - your choice, on your schedule. We loved the vintage rooms with high ceilings. Since we didn't...

it seems like it is out of the way...however a 5 minute train ride gets you to the center of Glasgow. It took a 5 minute walk in a beautiful section of this area to get us to the train! and cost about 1.50 pounds return trip....we had a fun dinner at the "Livingroom" at about 7pm and were sound...
