My husband booked us in for a stay over the September weekend for my surprise 40th. The staff were so helpful and friendly and couldn't do enough for you. The cooked breakfast was lovely, everything freshly cooked and delicious. The guest house itself was spotless too. They really made us feel special and some added wee personal touches helped to make...

The entire house was spotless; very clean and the atmosphere was very warm and inviting. The setup was lovely, especially the dining area and the guests' kitchen. Everything we needed was at our disposal, or provided when we asked for it. The room was very comfortable and spacious. And finally, the staff was very friendly, helpful and extremely accommodating. The Guest House is ideally sited for this event -100yds from the venue and for any trip to explore the city - walking distance to the local train station. The accommodation is gorgeous and spotlessly clean. Lots of original features in the red sandstone...

John and his staff are extremely hospitable and went out of their way to help. Our party consisted of 4 adults and 2 young children. The apartment was particularly useful for my daughter and her family, as the children had plenty of comfortable space to relax in whilst not disturbing other guests. The breakfasts are huge and the coffee pot...
