Wonderful B&B on a great location across from the castle ruins. The hosts are first rate and always willing to help out with golf reservations or other tourist information. The breakfast is to die for and the views of the castle and north sea spectacular.

This B&B is located in a 19th century row house. This rooms are very small by 4 or 5 star standards. Although I had what appeared to be the largest guest room I barely had room to open two suit cases. Expect to climb a lot of stairs No air conditioning and one of the windows was painted shut and...

We are glad you enjoyed the location and facilities we have to offer here at Castlemount . We are sorry you experienced such a personality conflict with the owner. Unfortunatley Jerry is not able to carry or help with any suitcases due to a continued health issue. I might suggest that you call ahead to private houses offering Bed and...

We found Castlemount through TripAdvisor and it's a definite winner. The location is perfect, each room has a unique decor. But It's the owners, Jerry B and Linda Ann, and the staff there that made our five night stay so enjoyable. They all make you feel right at home and can answer any questions about St Andrews. Our morning conversations,...

This was a golf trip for 5 women. We've been here many times and stayed at other B&B's that weren't available for this trip. We found Castlemount and were glad we did. The location was ideal across from the castle ruins on a quiet street. Jerry and his wife couldn't have been lovelier. The rooms were nice and the breakfasts...

Our golf group has been to St. Andrews many times and we've had a favorite B&B. It was all booked up this time, so we found Castlemount. It's our new favorite! The location is perfect. Lovely view of the castle and bay, and it's quiet and near restaurants and shopping. The rooms are good sized and nicely decorated, and the...

Huge room with adjoining room for my son. Clean, breakfast beautiful and made even better with the fabulous view of the castle! Made to feel especially welcome by the host Gerry. Loads of memorabilia about the house from when he was a Top Gun Fighter Pilot, which my son spent mulling over. Great choice at breakfast and cooked to perfection...

Perfectly situated in St.Andrews if you are golfing or holidaying; close to The Old Course and beach walking or just shopping & relaxing in town. Very friendly and relaxed but efficient - we will definitely be back!! 10/10.

Spent three nights in the two room suite--one king bed, one twin. Loved the location, it is right across the street from the castle ruins and the North Sea. The view every morning from the breakfast room is priceless. The owners and staff were helpful and friendly. Would definitely return.

Just back from a three night stay room we stayed was very clean and furnished with classic taste not like the hotels with cheap furniture breakfast room overlooks the castle and you never left there hungry please try the porridge with whisky and cream.
