I was comfortable in the honeymoon suite for two nights, day before and wedding night. There was a few hiccups but through no fault of their own(another business) and were quick to correct by the time our wedding started. They actually couldn't do more for us. The food was amazing and very filling! The whole experience was magical and I...

We went as we had heard that the bar was dog friendly. So it proved to be we were welcomed and water and a treat were brought for our Border Collie Sam. There was a good choice of dishes. I had Beer battered haddock goujons for starters and Steak Pie for a main at just £9.95. Will certainly be back...

Despite an initial hiccup with the room I was allocated( I'm disabled) it was sorted very quickly and with no fuss. The staff are attentive and really care about their guests. Suzanne in particular was brilliant and really could not do enough for me, she really does everything she can to ensure her guests stay is the optimum good experience....

Visited for a meal in the evening, greeted pleasantly by staff in Dukes Bar/Bistro which is very well presented. Ordered food and drinks in no time at all, food came out very quickly and well presented! Tasted fantastic and was good value for money. Special mention to Rochelle who was very attentive and well mannered at all times!

From the outside this hotel looks Good and just inside reception is ok, however the room we were given was dark, in a state of complete disrepair with stained carpets, ripped fabric on chairs, the corridor smelled like a chip shop. The breakfast was also cheap and nasty. This hotel has not had any investment for a long time. Stay...

Easy access, well sign posted, plenty of car parking. I was allocated room 32 which involved quite a few stairs and narrow doors. Bed was clean, the room and bathroom looked tired and in need of an update. I ordered room service on both nights of my stay (hotel was very quiet) which was brought on the most ridiculously large...

I photographed a wedding here recently on a return visit as a photographer. Very helpful and friendly staff. Lovely setting and a great experience all round. Grounds are lovely and perfect setting for photographs. Lots of room and shaded areas too. Drinks not too expensive and the hotel is immaculate !! Highly recommend.
