the facilities are good, nice pool etc, food was reasonable, and location, 15 mins bus ride into town. Whatever the rooms etc the staff were very friendly and helpful, so top marks for customer service.

Just returned after a 3 night stay with the wife and this is the first time we have stopped anywhere and said never again afterwards. The location is ok, just a 10 minute bus ride to princess street. I emailed the hotel beforehand to ask for a quiet room and was put in room

Although the hotel is in a decent location I was appalled by the room itself. We opted to upgrade our room at the cost of £20 with complementary late check out. Upon fist glance the room itself looked nice with a trendy decor. However, upon further inspection the tassimo machine

While not in the city heart, the Village Hotel is less than a 20 minute bus ride from the Royal Mile, with bus stops right outside the hotel entrance. The hotel is fresh, bright and modern, the Upper Deck rooms spacious, and the hotel has a lovely bar, quality restaurant and the

Very comfortable, good food, friendly service and handy for sightseeing and amenities. It also has a spa, swimming pool and function rooms. Tribute nights are a speciality. Reasonably priced 4 star accommodation.

This is the Table ‘d ote menu or fixed price menu, each of the village hotels have a different price from £13.95 to 15.95 or there is a fixed carvery on Sundays. Best to phone Hotel and ask. We did the Spa deal in Edinburgh on a Friday night leaving on the Saturday, the spa/massage was good but was the first massage I have been to that wasn’t connected to a pool, steam room or sauna which meant putting all your clothes on again with body covered in massage oil. Chic boutique style hotel, big rooms, very clean with ensuite, staff friendly and helpful. Didn’t like the continual loud music as you enter reception and bar dining area, otherwise I am sure you will enjoy.

We also used the bus service . Bus stop right outside and goes straight into the city centre in about 20 mins

I am not sure, when I stayed at the hotel you had the option to pay £5 per person to use the health club pool. It appears to be a private health club in the hotel, give them a call to clarify.
