Good value for money basic accommodation which has good food available and rooms are small but very comfortable in a very good location with excellent bus services into the centre of Edinburgh. I would use this accommodation again as it supplies good basic services to a high standard.

Stayed for one night whilst working in Edinburgh. The staff were all really great, the food was great (Toby Carvery, what's not to love), and the room was pleasant/clean/comfortable! The breakfast Was also really nice with plenty of choice, but strangley no Haggis?? Something I always look forward to when in Scotland! That's the only thing I would change...add haggis...

Hotel brilliant access for the zoo which was 10 mins walk down the road or jump on the bus outside. Room was lovely and clean, nice and warm with plenty of clean towels. Stayed in the family room/disabled room downstairs which was big and roomy and faced the very busy main road which unfortunately made the room noisy, little one...

My daughter and I flew in to Edinburgh and met my 2 sons here. This place is excellent value for money. We had the package to include the full cooked breakfast, which have to say was fantastic. The rooms are clean, comfortable and stock everything you need. The staff are just lovely, all of them. We didn't know that the...

Stayed for 2 nights and would definitely recommend! The lodge is only a 10 minute walk to the zoo and there is a bus stop right outside into city centre. The room we had was huge which was ideal, it was very clean, and there was not much noise considering it faced the main road. The staff were all very...

We stayed just 1 night here but was thoroughly impressed with the place. Staff super friendly and helpful. Told us a great tip for the buses. Think a refit had just been done. Immaculate and spotless clean. A little way out of town but we got to see so much more of Edinburgh that way. Will definatly be back

Could not fault the staff, so friendly helpful and could not do enough. However, was not pleased about the standard of our rooms. Our bedding had multiple pubic hairs in it as well as a dirty foot print mark. Was also not changed after our first night stay and the same foot print mark was there when we came to...
