We spent two nights at the hotel and it was great. Really friendly staff (before and during our stay), super comfortable room and bed and great breakfast. The area where the hotel is situated is really close to the city centre. It was a really good experience. Thank you!

Very comfortable and reasonably priced. Very good service, and the breakfast is great, many choices and - surprise - "substitutions welcome". Within reasonable walking distance to the city center if you can manage hills.

The place was easy to find from the airport bus. Coming down through the old Georgian quarter in the New Town. The room was spacious and clean. And the view was nice. The breakfast was tasty and the service were really nice people. We would come back.

I was in a single occupancy room which was clean but desperately in need of renovation. It was located in the basement access via a stone staircase with no handrail. I new that the facilities were shared but the nearest toilet was situated on the ground floor which meant having to climb these stairs. The nearest shower was on the...

Good hotel in a great location, just a 10-15 minute walk up to princes street (it is quite a steep walk which was fine for us, there is also a regular bus also) there's a few pubs, shops and the botanical gardens very close by. Room was clean, no frills but comfortable enough, en suite shower was good. Keep in...

What a find! I was finding it difficult to get a budget stay in Edinburgh when I found this place, and what a find it was! Very close and convenient to the city center, with very attentive staff. I stayed in the budget single, and it was great for the price, nice and clean with a fantastic made to order...

Met at the door by Simone - wonderful hostess!! We had a cozy room overlooking the back courtyard greenery surrounded by beautiful Georgian townhomes! Everything was clean and comfy - with delicious breakfasts served with a smile! Couldn't have asked for a better location either - right around the corner from a delicious café, local pub, and even a stocked...

We stayed there for 3 nights and it was lovely. The room was comfortable and clean. The guesthouse was really quite and they serve nice cooked breakfast in the morning. The guesthouse is about 10/15 minutes walk from the new/old town but on a hill so it's a nice warm up in the morning to prepare your for Edinburgh's hills.

A large Victorian Townhouse on the outskirts of Edinburgh centre, but with a very pleasant 15 minute uphill walk past shops and restaurants to the centre. Opposite a fabulous restaurant rated 8 on tripadvisor (what a great find & great food!) The rooms are very basically furnished and some share bathrooms. Ours had an ensuite (for which we paid extra)...
