We stayed here overnight in a motorhome in February. The site is set in lovely parklands and has some good facilities even in the middle of winter. There is a regular bus service into the city from outside the gates. There was the usual work going on that you expect in the close season but it did not spoil our...

We stayed at Mortonhall in order to go to a company night out in Edinburgh in December. There is a regular bus service into Edinburgh from the end of the road into the site, the buses continue to run till late and then an hourly service from midnight till around 4 am. The site and the toilet/shower block was neat,...

An excellent site with all amenities and above. Well lit neat and tidy. Bus stops outside gate so easy to enjoy Edinburgh without the pain of parking...fully serviced caravan pitches available though i imagine booking in advance would be essential in the summer...would we stay here again...you bet.

We visited this caravan site with our granddaughters as a base for the Edinburgh Christmas festivities. We arrived after work at 5pm but unfortunately it's dark at this time. We were told our pitch was 101. I was asked if I'd been here before to which I responded we had, but a long time ago so didn't know the park....

We booked a static caravan at mortonhall for a 4 night break, after a long 5 hour journey we were greeted by a friendly receptionist who handed us the keys to our caravan and directions. To our horror as we entered the caravan we were greeted by a big pile of bedding on the floor, looking further around there was...

I will start on a positive note. The site is very accessible for the city by bus. The towels and sheets provided were white and clean. After that, yuk! From the minute we walked in we felt itchy. The unit had been hoovered, well, the carpet had. The settees were grubby and full of dust and the place smelled musty....

From first going into reception, my experience was good. The young lady was so helpful, and the information that she gave us. The facilities on the site where of a good standard, the dog walks where good, and the stables pub did good food
