Hi had a week's holiday touring Scotland and off in Edinburgh. I stayed in this great Guesthouse. My room was clean, I had free WIFI access, I got a good night's sleep. The room price was very reasonable. I particularly liked the breakfast - there was a really good, healthy choice with home baked goodies. I particularly liked the facilities...

I was traveling with my parents and my well behaved dog during our stay and I must say that I absolutely loved the place from the moment I set foot inside. We had the cutest room which was so cozy and warm. The caretakers who run this business are so very friendly and kind. They had the nicest quality bedding...

A charming b&b on the outskirts of Edinburgh. It was clean, quiet, staff was pleasant and helpful. Room on the small side, but adequate. My daughter complained about the water pressure in the shower. I had no problem. Included breakfast was more than adequate, but they'll do you a full Scottish breakfast if you have the time and appetite for...

My wife and I wanted somewhere to stay for our overnight stay in Edinburgh that was pet friendly and we were very pleased that we chose Arden Guest House. On arrival we received a very warm welcome from the staff who were very helpful and knowledgeable. The room was comfortable, clean and well equipped with the added bonus of free...

We have stayed at the Arden on several occasions and have to say that we always receive a warm welcome from Linda and her team. The rooms are always clean and fresh. With regards to the cooked breakfast, I prefer to have the choice as I don't always want a hot breakfast and therefore don't feel I am having to...

Hostess wasn't very welcoming - didn't even Say hello. Room was generally quite dirty. Thick dust on the kettle and on the side tables. We didn't even have towels and had to ask for them. Bedding was very old and dirty. It was obvious that the room hadn't even been looked in for a while before we arrived - either...

Stayed for one night and it is hard to have a real complaint against the place, but similarly, I'm not exactly left thinking I want to tell all my friends to go there. The Guest House is (once you are there) really well located on the bus route (if raining, turn left for a sheltered stop is my top tip!)...

We stayed here for one night. We felt a bit like a burden, cooked breakfast isn't normally included in the price and the location is noisy (busy road) and not the nicest one in the Edinburgh area. On the plus side, the room was big enough and the en-suite was state of the art and everything was clean. All in...

Please be assured. our guests are NEVER a burden and I am sorry you felt like that. I would be glad if you could contact me direct so that I can remedy any specific issues. We are usually noted for our friendliness. I have to disagree with you slightly about the road not being the nicest. We are in a...

In one phrase if I need to define my stay at the Arden Guest House, I would say it is 'A home away from home'. The Land lady and her son were the most affectionate and taken care of all of my requests whenever I had needed help. I am new to the Country and on a business trip, but...
