We came up to Edinburgh to meet up with a few friends. We found this B&B on Booking.com and the price was pretty good in comparison to everywhere else in Edinburgh. The building is lovely, as were Steven and his parents. It's about a 20 minute walk from the centre and right next to Arthur's Seat. There's a few restaurants... More

Had a great stay at ard-na-said. Host Stephen was warm and friendly and gave us good recommendations on what to do in and around Edinburgh. Breakfast was fantastic with excellent choice and perfect fried mushrooms! Bed was very comfy which helps after a long day of sightseeing. Recommend going to the Salisbury Arms which is a 5 minute walk away,... More

We had a wonderful stay at Ard-na-said. Very friendly staf and a lovely room. The B&B was in e very quiet neighbourhood but the public transport is nearby. Great breakfast with typical Scottish haggis on the menu. Excellent public transport.

Lovely clean and quiet accommodation in a gorgeous Victorian house. Super breakfast with great haggis. Regular buses into the city only 5-10 minutes away. We stayed in the Rankin room, lovely garden view and super big bathroom with bath and separate shower.

Very nice and quiet place. Very close to the center. Bus stop is just one minute walk from the property. Shops and restaurants are, also, near by. We were recommended to try Salisbury Arms and it was excellent place. Hosts were very warm and welcoming.

We had a three night break at Ardnasaid. Parked car in their car park and buses to the centre were just a short walk away. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable with a very comfy bed. Enjoyed the breakfasts. Steven was a friendly host and very helpful. All in all an enjoyable stay.

We had a really good stay. Everything is spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was beautifully presented and plentiful. Off street parking was a bonus. The centre of Edinburgh in not far away, nor is it far to an excellent restaurant. Hosts were very friendly and we'd happily stay there again.

Breakfast served between 8-9am (with the offer of a packed breakfast which could be ready for 7.30am which was kind) but leaving well before this so perhaps offering packed breakfast to be collected night before would be helpful. Comfortable bed, shower not ideal but did the job. Overall a pleasant stay.

We had been in London for a week and were meeting another couple who were arriving in Edinburgh the day before us. We were surprised to find out from our friends that the hosts at Ard-na-said would not be there to welcome us and had asked our friends to let us in which we thought was an imposition. When we...
