As a Business Account holder, I stay in various Premier Inns around the UK on a regular basis. This one is a conversion of an older hotel building, so despite being clean and the staff being as helpful as expected, the overall feel is somewhat tired and compromised. The extractor fan in the room adjoining mine was incredibly noisy and...

We were a party of four arriving over 3 days. We were made to feel very welcome and the receptionists were all very kind and helpful. The rooms are spacious and clean with air conditioning. Kettle is provided for tea and coffee and also a hairdryer. One thing I was very pleased with, the lighting is good! Although the hotel...

Lovely bright airy room at the end of a labyrinth of corridors. The staff were friendly and helpful as is to be expected from Premier Inns and the food in the Beefeater restaurant attached to the hotel was very good although the service was at times haphazard whilst not being bad. Let down somewhat though by the noisy plumbing, the...

Room was clean and comfortable although we could hear everything in next doors bathroom, and bathroom fans did wake us up. Staff were very friendly and helpful and helped us with booking and reviews for local attractions

Avoid room 208 unless you can leave the window shut as is just above the kitchen fans. This is an older premier inn and it shows. Reception staff pleasant, but a touch rude in the morning when I was leaving for work "checking out now?" I was gruffly asked. When I replied I was here for another day I was...

Nice hotel, staff very attentive, is not near downtown but has bus stops in front. It is located near a small market and take away restaurant. The breakfast is expensive when compared with other places on town

Usually always stay in a Premier Inn unless travelling for a special occasion. This was our 1st time staying at Edinburgh East and it didn't disappoint. The lady at reception was fantastic, gave us lots of helpful info on using the buses as we were heading to the Usher Hall for a gig. We ended up not using the restaurant,...

We chose this Premier Inn as it had good free parking at the rear and was still close enough to the city centre as well as "Edinburgh's Seaside" - Portobello. Overall it represented good value for us. However, although the staff were very helpful and friendly we felt that at times particularly the restaurant next door (The lady Nairn -Beefeater...

Receive the warmest welcome and most efficient service from Frontdesk associate, Diana. Rooms are spotless and quiet. Restaurant food reasonably priced and selection is quite good. Take Bus 44 to city centre, takes no more than 15 minutes, and purchase a day pass for GBP 4.00 Stop in front of the museum and bus stop for return trip is in...

Situated near the city centre, this Inn is also near the Eastern side of the City and so easy for accessing the countryside. The welcome is warm and friendly, and the hotel very comfortable. Plenty of free parking is available as well. Spent a very happy night here
